Careful... don't give him that old rotted meat that's been out too long..
Great job baldy... you're getting to be quite the little mod collector. Pretty soon, you'll have to take the wax off your mod list...

Mrs. Momo must be asleep... you know he doesn't get permission to stay on this long... either that, or he's "working" late again at the corner, er... I mean office.

Sorry for the noob question, but just to reiterate (because I'm in the market as well)... the Teins WILL NOT lower my ride height?

So someone looking for adjustable dampening AND ride height should look to Matt's or the V2's. Am I right?

Grats on getting yours Jason! :headspin:

No. The Teins will lower your ride height. In fact I think they have a slightly wider height range than the KWs -- all the way up they get closer to stock and all the way down they're lower than the others. It's the shock damping that can be adjustable from inside the cab with the Teins. You can lower your car with ALL the aftermarket coilovers for our cars. Unfortunately (for me) they all start lower than stock height which is what I would like to maintain.

Thos KWV1's were practically brand new. When I posted the "for sale" thread I listed them as having 1000 miles on them to play it safe...I knew what they looked like. They actually have less than 400. The guy sold his Charger in exchange for a Z06 shortly after installing them. Wait until you see them Momo. Congrats again.

Lower than the Mopars?? Wow. I'm not to familiar with the Tiens but I don't know how they can go any lower than the Mopars. Look at Wicked Wagon's silver Maggie on the OC, he has some pix of it all the way down with the Mopars ... it's LOW! You've seen mine, I'm down 1 1/2" in front and it's only about 3/4's the way. Rears yea, not as much, I'm down 1" and it's almost maxed out but in the front the Mopars go looooooooooooooooow.

It makes me all warm and fuzzy inside seeing you two finally "hook up" like this! You know you can officially be gay in Cali now ... Swartz had no choice, either make it legal or deport the EQ, only prob was no other country wanted them, not even France!! lol

Sorry, it just kinda came out, like your pecker everytime you see Ron! Lol!

Now that's funny right there! Hey Drew, how would you know??? Lol!

That's the Million Dollar question Jason. When I got them I'd have said YES in a heartbeat, all my research led me to believe that they were indeed rebadged KWs. After seeing them on, feeling the ride, seeing how they adjust lower than the KWs and having some talks with Rick about them I say NO, they are not rebadged KW V1s.

Here's the conclusion Rick and I came to ... they are indeed made by KW for Mopar (and prolly started as V1s) but are not just rebadged V1s, they are made to specific specs Mopar requested (spring rates, valving, etc). They have a harder ride and go lower in front than the KWs and in my opinion they are really tailored to track use instead of street use more than the KWs. Imo. Anyone drive the Mopar cars at the TE?? There's my proof.
