Good points that no one touches:
What isn't being reported or reported correctly, is the standard of living the Iraqi citizens now have. Schools and libraries are open, Hospitals have medicine, sewer systems are being built, clean water is flowing, etc. There is an electrical issue, too much demand. Households for the first time have TVs, hair dryers, microwaves, computers, video games....their electrical system wasn't setup for this. People thank you in the streets both Sunni and Shiite...haven't met any Kurds that I recall.

The religious split will be tough for anyone to solve. Plus, the backlash of the Shiite's and how they were treated for years. I don't know how to solve it?

Iran is hostile to us due to our support of Israel.

oh dont get me wrong dude, i def understand what your doing there now. i have 4 buddies currently enlisted. two just got back from iraq, one is still in Afghanistan for another month or so...its his second time there.
