    Just a few questions:

I bought the 4128 (185*) thermo today, is the 7720 CST Radiator Cap a necessity with the thermo change, or is the stock cap fine?

Ordering a catback & Diablo sometime this week, is the Diablo necessary prior to installing the thermo? I've heard some cars throw codes for not reaching operating temp (which I'm assuming has something to do with the EGR system switch).

Is there an EGR block-off plate available yet (for those of us lucky enough to not have visual inspects)? I'm assuming with or without the Diablo can remove any EGR related codes.

Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

    Thom,

No you do not need the upgraded cap.

Doubtful that you will throw the code for the 185 t-stat. I have a 170 and threw the code once.

    excellent, thanks Ron!

I'm really not going to worry about the egr system until I get some longtubes, that extra weight can stay onboard until then. I'll just fab up a block-off plate then & tune it out w/ the diablo.

The wife is allowing only the basics at the moment, I'll have to work on getting longtubes and a catless mid-pipe by summer. My long-term is an I-Charger for Christmas.:good:
