I'm pretty new to racing (less than 50 passes so far), but with the help of the likes of Chris (fargo59), Greg (hemiwagn), Dave (Token)...they've helped me add some power to my ride, and offered support & tips at the track. Last years best on the Predator 93/CAI canned tune, full street weight, and 1/2 a tank of gas was 13.15. Since then HalfFast Performance has installed an SRT MAX cam, Inertia 6.1 Premium Heads, Edge 3400 TC, Magnaflow HF Cats, B&M Transmission Cooler, Line Lock. Bought some used DR's, and got myself a set of skinnies too. Started out this fall with a 12.96 first pass on the new set up. Ended that day with a 12.80. Next time out improved only slightly to a 12.79. Finally got to add my skinnies into the mix. Also removed the passenger seat, and the back seat. I now have a PB of 12.61 @ 110.60, and there's definitely still some more in the car. haha those were being used when nothing was available to the LX market. Bet I can name one of the first to see if they would work???
Getting better....this past Saturday +687 DA And then Halloween Sunday in some -298 DA :good: Right now it sounds like there will be a good LX turnout this coming Sunday for what will be my last track day this year. Car goes into hiding in about 2 weeks time.
Managed to make some more gains on my final trip to the track this season. Looking to get into the 11's in the spring. Ran a 12.26 to eclipse my previous 12.32 PB, and finally pulled off this... Was pretty consistent all day... 12.47 @ 113.06 12.37 @ 114.03 12.33 @ 113.98 12.71 @ 112.38 (bit of tire spin off the line, but still managed a decent pass) 12.26 @ 114.16 12.23 @ 114.37 12.29 @ 114.50 12.25 @ 114.40
