I agree Chris, those are nice sleds from a distance.. Once you get up close for further inspection, you will be disappointed on the craftmanship.

Very disturbing since these were built by West Coast Customs. IMO

its crazy that wcc did that daytona. everyone in ca is moving away from the big wheel lip now, that fad passed on. now its all about multipiece and powdercoating the individual pieces. i thought these guys would have brought something current.

it is dub though and like everyone knows, dub blows.

it got popular when the new style bimmers came out with their wheel lip. since the car was actually designed like that, many people liked the look (rappers, music videos, etc) then it got out of hand and everyone jumped on it.

i can deal with a 1 or 2 inch but that daytona with its lip looks really bad imho.

I do like how the multi piece wheels are different color.

It wasn't my style, but if you look at that rear fender on the TB, there's some serious work that went into it. Plus the tails were pretty cool.

100% agree with this statement!!!! i was stunned at the lack of quality in something as basic as a tape line....... that yellow daytona had some crazy work done to the rear fenders to get the wheels to fit. when i looked at the wheels, i was shocked to see how poorly they were painted. very dissappointing. the worst was the green two door charger........ it looked pretty hacked.....

Wow I'll have to take you guys word for it cuz its really hard to tell the quality of the builds just from distant pictures. I didnt realize how scary looking the rear wheels/tires were on that charger till I saw those closeups. The tires look about 3 sizes too skinny for the rim. The bead is stretched out to the max:huh:

^^^Yep, those wheels were a bit too wide.

I sure do not like it when the wheel sticks out past the tire. Not for me anyway.

The concepts of those cars were pretty wild, though.

I loved the WestCoastCustoms cars......Didn't like the Dub cars (As usual) If you compare the WCC cars to the Dub cars it looked like Art vs. toys....Ferrari to Shortbus.

BTW I think that's Raymond (rsmeanie)
