Well i was having a good day yesterday, after hearing the my 3yr old little girl is doing very good in school, even with her slight delays, so i left here school, it snowing and raining, so being very careful driving with the weather like this. So i stop to the fish store , about 5min from my house, go in and come out and start the car, the car sounds real funny, o open the hood knocking slightly on the driver side. so i cut it off and check the car for codes, NO CODES! so i start the still knocking only on that side, so i pressed the gas, and the tapping got fast and louder, so i go to the back of the car, the car is not smoking heavy or any blue smoke,so i cant understand whats going on, I'm thinking to myself, how can i hurt the car ,by just starting it up, car has not been over 20-25 MPH in the day, because of the weather! i got home, checked all the fluids, all are good, my oil change it not even 30 days old yet. So i guess you guys just wish me luck.

I will take off the coil pack, and check the plug, then take the vale covers off, and go from there, i will try and post up a video of how the car sounds, later guys

well i pulled the plugs, they all are good :) then pulled the vale cove, heads look real good, no broken rocker, springs good, push rod in cylinder 1, is not moving, so the lifter is bad or stuck:crying:

    Update

Well just here t give you and UPDATE,, it was a failed lifter, the spring in the lifter, so the push rod , pushed the lifter back down and it just stayed there, all the New lifter are back in the motor.
But if this happen to you, DO NOT drive the car, you have good chance the you can damage the cam, and if you keep driving , it can happen. i was lucky that i was not driving the car !

That is some luck in an unfortunate situation!
If it was me, I´d probably would have noticed when the valves would have hit the pistons and made a mash out of the whole engine...
