As long as we're on the subject of the Vred's... Is there much difference in height verses the RSA 245/45 ?? Reason I ask was that my Garmin GPS was showing my speed about 1-2 MPH faster than the speedo during my trip to the rumble. If anything I was under the impression the Vred's are shorter which would make the speedo read faster than actual. I can just measure them but since I've never seem anyone mention correcting the tire size with the predator I thought I'd bring it up...
275/40 would be 110 mm? x2 = 220 mm = 8.66 inches -> 28.66" dia. 245/45 would be 110.25 mm? x2 = 220.5mm -> 28.68" dia. Is that right? 0.5 mm difference in total height?

As spring approaches, I want to get my new Vred's too. Check it out though - nobody can find them for me here locally except one speedshop (where I bought my spacers) and HE WANTS $ 580 PER TIRE!!! What does a brutha have to do to get them for $ 170 each? Last I checked our dollars where about the same so this is just stupid. Q: Are there any members in Ogdensburg or upstate NY near Kingston that know of a dealership that woudl slap some on for me at a rasonable price? Help appreciated. Joe in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
