My buddy was telling me about this local scrap yard that has a scale right off the road and its on all the time. I always wondered how much my car weighed with me in it. I have full interior/ spare tire and a couple random things in the trunk, 3/4 tank of gas. Car weighed 3060lbs with me in it. Not too bad. Anyone else weigh their car/truck/suv?
I've done it at the track and at the city waste management that weighs you before and after you come in to figure your bill. With me in the Jeep I was about 5080
Nope...maybe I should take a trip to the dump to find out. I'm sure I could find something to fit in my car that needs to be thrown away. Of course if it will fit in my car car, it'll fit in the trash can too...so maybe I'll save the $12, and just go with your 3000 lbs.:rofl:
Its not really a scrap yard/ junk yard... I would have to take pictures of what this place looks like. You wouldn't even know there was a scale there. Damn CTH, thats heavy!
