Almost 4 months out of commission, are you ready to see the mains rod?

So I have a shipment coming tomorrow to put the final touches on the look of the neon. I will have some help putting it on tomorrow night and expect pics this weekend

I am further defining how neons should look

 

Because I want to know what my car should look like...

I am trying like hell... this fix should take a normal man 10 mins... but as I can not bend my ankle, put weight on it or really do anything with it, it has taken me 1 hour to correct 1 side.

Ever wonder how you can rub a strut that is smaller in diameter than the stock setup? I have, I have also learned that 2 of my 250 dollar a piece tires are now torn to hell (my 2 good ones)

So since the coilover install my car has been immobile. Serious rubbing issues from the rim/tire and strut, as I could not get on the ground to inspect myself I took the word of a person saying "it is the offset you are running and your wide ass tires" Though I had spacers I went ahead and bought new rims. I pop the rims on friday and found that even with a lower positive offset I WAS STILL HAVEING PROBLEMS! Put washers in and still had issues.

So I started thinking more and more about what could be wrong and found an issue with the lower mounts on the front struts so I loosened them and started pulling the camber out to make clearance and blamo space!!! OMG

Still very limited I asked for an extra set of hands and eyes and KingNate was kind enough to show up and help. and now NO RUB anywhere and new rims and tires still need an alignment but the neon is MOBILE!

Looks great!! I like the wheels :thumb2: ... but they are a pain in the ass to clean!!!
