Air Brushing Question

    So,

    If I wanted to get something airbrushed onto the hood....nothing big or crazy hahaha....do they need to repaint the entire hood from scratch or can they just do a light sanding of the clear coat on the hood, do the airbrushing then re-clear the hood?

    (or a different method that i don't know of....the method is not important...merely the "do they have to repaint the entire hood from scratch or not) lol

    they would sand to with 1000 grid than air brush it than clear than wet sand

    thats pretty much what the guy i spoke to today said.....

    of course...i'd have it done at 402 :)

    mild sand with 1500 or so, do the art work, clear, color sand, buff, wax, and finally, wipe off the drool....... lol

    unless you mean drooling over the fact that its a Kewl SRT :)...then ok :D hahaha

    any idea how long it would take?

    3 days....a week?

    depends on the complexity of the artwork..... the rest of the stuff is couple of days, mostly letting the clear dry well....
