Aftermarket stereo question!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm looking to get feedback on the positives or negatives of getting an aftermarket deck and how it may/may not change how the steering wheel controls are "PUCKED" with!

I understand the deck I'm looking at has the connection to keep the controls, but it no longer is a hold the volume button down until you reach the desired volume, it is now a push the volume button several times until you reach the volume desired! I believe I can live with that, I'm not as fat or lazy as MOMO yet, but he is only alittle bit older than me.

I will not lose the center speaker, but I will lose the bluetooth capability. I'll just get the ear piece...............

Any and all help is appreciated!!!!!!

 

I have the eclipse avn 5510. Awesome deck. You can wire the steering controls up to work like stock and have the parrot bluetooth. My friend has one too. look into this deck. Navi and all

ryan - i upgraded the stock main amp with the mopar 368 8-chanel digital, replaced stock sub with another kicker, the L7 model, and replaced the stock sub amp with a kicker zx 400. system upgrades were only 600 bucks and sound great. best part is, all the factory controls are the same, but i have much better sound!!!!

Sounds great bro, but my biggest hang up is no ipod!!!!!!!!!!!! Our decks don't have ipod capabilities and currently nothing is in the works to make it ipod usable. The only thing out there is the cheap cig lighter hookup, but sounds like MOMO in the shower!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Ryan, you're already annoying enough without a louder stereo. People can only stand Don Juan Martinez Vega's TJ garbage can orchestra below 4 decibels... so do us all a favor and concentrate on performance mods.
