:rockon:This is a new product that looks pretty exciting for the Jeep SRT8. Looks like it makes significant horsepower and torque! http://afefilters.com/productreview...272-54-11192-Jeep-Grand-Cherokee-BUY-NOW!.htm
I can't believe how fast the Tundra's are stock. Standard cabs with just a cat-back and CAI doing 14.1X's. Even the 4X Doublecabs do 14.8. Mine's a 2x Doublecab and it feels like a solid 14 second. I've beaten every truck badly that has attempted to race me, as a matter of fact no car has beat me either. 401 lbs of TQ, with a 6 speed and 4.30 gears create quite the launch. What makes it so impressive is the half ton is so much bigger than anything else.
Ya they are Big looking but they are lighter than most trucks. I test drove one just for kicks, I would never buy one. I didn't like the feel of it at all. I have to give them credit though they are fast stock. The guy I raced was very unhappy he couldn't believe I beat him so bad. Oh well you win some you lose some.
260 cam, full exhaust Vara Ram intake, tuned The 260 cam would be a great cam for the Jeeps very little lope, extremely hard to tell that I even have a cam but the HP and TQ gains are impressive.
Haven't had any problems. There were cam issues on early ones. The new problem has been torque converters. No issues there either. They have huge torque management.
I had a toyota once upon a time my hunting buddies kinda talked me into, I had to lemon law it. It had all kinds of problems I think I went through 3 engines in about a years time before they would give me my money back. It was a POC. LOL
Hal I've bought and tried about every cai and a few exhausts......why not another??? I'm sure Scott will accomodate me:grin:
