Well, seeing as how it's winter here in WI, and tomorrow into wednesday there is an expected 10+ inches of snow, I haven't had a chance to take any new pictures of my GC. But, since work was slow today, I was browsing around my albums on photobucket and decided to post a few pics from the fall of my truck.....just to keep me sane:headspin: Enjoy, and comments/questions welcome!! First Day Home.... Debadged, and a nice reminder of summer weather.... Some HDR Pictures.....
im loving the fisheye in cab.... there are a few HDRs I do really like but the last few wow little too busy for my tastes... in the end I still give you 3 thumbs up...
Thanks guys!! The HDR shots get tricky with trying to keep them subtle and still well laid out. Sometimes they do get busy, but the pics of the jeep were only my 5th actuall attempt at HDR. I'm still practicing with the tonemapping and such. It's a work in progress, and a hobby of mine....i'm a picture whore!:chair:
currently a Canon D-Reb XT and all those shots were with the 18-55 kit lens surprisingly enough. People always complain about the lens and how cheap it is, but it's held up for over 2 years now, and it's finally starting to go. Whenever I zoom in or out, you can hear and feel the spring inside catching and skipping. Still focuses fine and zooms fine though. My other lens is an OLD 28-210 that I had from my 35mm Rebel, but I am planning on picking up the newest tamron 18-250 lens in the near future.... I also have a Phoenix .25 reducer for the "fish-eye" shots. As for software, Photoshop CS and Photomatix Pro for the HDR stuff.
Great shots. Couple of those looked too busy at first and then very much had a Predator (the movie) look to them. That one at the dead end sign... looked like a popular spot. You waiting for the guy with the tripod to get done shooting his car?
Hey man the camera doesn't make the artist its the guy behind the camera I like them all and sounds like you have a good setup.
Thanks guys!!! The guy with the tripod is a buddy of mine. We went out one night and just drove around downtown looking for a bunch of spots to take pics....
*drool* *drool* Damn that is hot!!!!! I am in love with those things. But I will never be able to afford one unfortunately.
haha...yeah, and another 8-10 inches is predicted for this sunday night, on top of the 3-5 we just got yesterday!!!!! Thanks!
