I just wanted to say thanks to MagFX (John) and SoCalRT (Bret) for all the help they unselfishly gave me prior to Spring Fest. Like all car projects, everything piled up to the last minute. And without thier help I could have never pulled off what we got completed. John flew out from AZ the Saturday before and within a couple hours of picking him up we were hard at it creating the frame for this John is flat out a rock star. Every detail completed perfectly no matter what it is. And no matter how many hours we put in, the guy just never stops. And on Tuesday morning Bret showed up just in time to start all the finish work on the install and prep of both motors. That included paint/polish, you name it we were kiling it getting it all done. And in a matter of a couple days we had the worlds baddest go-kart wiped out. The display motor completed thanks to Tedd from All USA and Stan with RLD featuring the mock up versions of the new roller rocker and 6.1 forged replacement piston soon to hit the market REAL soon. And installed the interior and a few other misc exterior mods on the Chally. You guys have no idea how cool it is working with two of the best fabricators on the boards. No one having to second guess each others moves or worry about....anything. What would normally take weeks to complete happened in a manner of hours thanks to these guys. Also a very special thanks to my wife. I've been far to busy and lax to do anything about cards, shirts, banners and anything else over the last few months. So after seeing what we were trying to get done. She pulled off the impossible for me. And a major thanks to Trojan for getting those kickass stickers . And to a couple buddies of mine that have nothing to do with the boards. Sappy but true ^^^^ that's not the end of the story. On Monday after SF I got a call from the promoters of Mopars on the Strip asking me to come up for the weekend and display everything I had at SF and race the Chally. The problem was I still had not gotten the blower installed on the Chally (and tuned), lowered or aligned and a few other misc tasks. Long story short, my wife and my friends told me that I needed to go no matter what it took. Man what a week that was coming down to hitting it on Thursady morning at 4am, leaving the shop at midnight, heading home, showering, packing some clothes by 1am and at the track in Vegas at 10 minutes to 7 Friday morning. I wasn't able to get the displays up there and only took the Challenger. So over the next three days I had the time of my life. Hanging with friends up there racing and getting to meet some owners of the best shops in the country. It was great seeing Mark and the gang from Speed Factory again and getting to meet Tim, Andy, Todd, Mike and the crew from Mr. Norms. You guys haven't lived till ya drank Crown Royal and Dr. Pepper with a bunch good ole rednecks I tells ya Anyhow, if it wasn't for John and Bret that'd have never happened. Thanks guys, I owe you big Also my appologies for anyone that thought I was blowing them off over the last 4 weeks.............I was . But maybe you have some idea why now.
