Well some here know who I am and what kinds of things I get involved in, some of you are lucky enough to have been spared knowing..... I am posting about improvements to my car this time I am sure you have seen the current condition of my MSRT and If you have not then make sure you sit prior to viewing. I have my car at a shop currently and they are working to put it together by the 19th of January. I had hoped to have my car ready for track time by then, and had no intent of doing any body work, hell show is something I have never been about. While my car is out of commission I am considering adding some power under the hood, but I have little cash on hand after all the arrangements that I have had to make to have it fixed. Oh and Yes I have insurance, and yes they have put 12K into an escrow account. It is a reality that when you car is as busted up as mine you find yourself needing to purchase many parts that the insurance co will never want to pay for. Having just given away a rental property to my sister so she and her son could finally have a home of their own I have found myself in the unique position of having to choose to either sell one of my cars, or work a second job. Well I would sell a kidney before I would sell either of the cars since I could not find a buyer for the kidney I am now working a second and a third job. the third job is a commission job and all the income will go toward putting my MSRT back on the road. Any additional cash I manage to make Will go into performance mods, small as they may be I will do what I can. So what I need is some performance ideas that do not cost too much. I do not need and intake, as I build those myself, rather just some good input of what is the most cost effective. Again I hope to be completed by the 19th as we will be holding an event here in Arizona that weekend, and would like to give Hal a run for his money on the weekend of the debut. Oh and you should see what they have planned for my car it will look so cool when they ........................ oh I am not allowed to talk about that part......... all the best, full
Cost effective, Id say Heads/Cam, You could S/C but thats a pretty penny and Imo a nice set of heads and a Cam would have you sittin pretty! :thumb3:
You don't say what your budget is, full. So assuming there's very little cash to get this baby up to snuff, I'd start with your CAI, Corsa exhaust to give you a nice note, and a CMR tune. There are a few folks getting crazy numbers from otherwise stock rides with the tune. Good luck!
