What a great weekend Dan! Thank you for that.

So Friday started with an 11.21@120, took a few more practice runs and parked the 300. The announcer calls Index to the lanes for eliminations and off we go.....first round win. Get back to the pits and they call stroker N/A to the lanes for the first qualifier.....line up next to InferAl and do a great burnout.....

Tree lights up, hammer it out of the hole and BANG! Oh.....Hi guys, thanks for the push.

So with Fargo passing tools, me wrenching sweating and swearing with enough curse words that it would sound like an EKG Flatline on the video tape, and Token calling out how many cars were left in the second round of index, I got it fixed....quick.....damn quick!

So quick in fact(15 minutes) I made the second round of index and the next thing everyone saw was.....

Won the round, came back around into the pits to a LOT of people saying " I thought you broke?" to which I got a very puzzled look when I replied " I did...it's fixed" I managed to go on to take 3rd in both heads up and index, for which I was very grateful to even still be racing. I took a new PB this weekend as [email protected] lane.....car 9310\

I need to thank Arrington Engines and Frank Racing for the beast of an Engine and AJ(Hemituner) for help making it possible. After the 5.7 392 went south I never figured I'd have a 426 in the car but the stars came together and the planets aligned and here it is!
I also want to thank Mike Hess for tuning the motor, and AJ for the final WOT tweaks....Mike and AJ with out a doubt are on the top tier of tuning talent in the country! This car will see tens N/A ....just need to do a couple more things to it.
And then there is Cam! Thanks bud....the intake still looks flawless, the loop works perfect....the grief you put up with with my bitching is priceless to me....couldn't ask for more out of a friend.....oh wait....wheres my damn shifter....I should have enough gift certificates to cover it....lol....j/k.

Coopers Dad for getting me these pics to tell the story.

Lastly and certainly not least.....Wendy...with out her support through this(putting up with my grumpiness) and being there when I was losing my mind to be the voice of reason

When I saw Coopers_dad walk behind me with the camera I just shook my head....figured it would be another wonderfully embarrassing pic....glad to see it was the pic I posted.

    121 mph is damn strong...big props E!
    Couple things

...remember when I called you before I began my 5 hour install of my 09 shafts and asked "Why do I have to drop the pumpkin, wouldn't it be easier to just pop the joint and swing it, then pull it out?" and you said..."Go ahead Hotrod, do whatever you want, but I'm telling you it's easier to drop the pumpkin"...Hmmmm 15 minutes versus 5 hours...:)

Also...how many broke half shafts that day, seems like a bunch. What brand were everyone breaking...I know yours was Paramount, did anyone break an 09 Mopar? What was the general consesus as to why.

I went in from the knuckle because it's been off 100 times already and is loose to get on and off.....thats not the case on the average LX.....if you are doing both axles it is less time consuming and easier to just drop the differential......and there were 2 Getrag axles broken this weekend.

    Ahh, makes sense...

I guess the weak links are still out there, gotta have the right combination for your power output, traction and weight. Anyone's can break i guess.
