The completion of my engine is drawing to a near and I just want to check and make sure I have got everything done that I need to have done.

A few things I have read over all threads are certain bits and pieces of any new engine build that should be replaced before running. For example new cam requires a new cam bolt/new crank requires new crank bolt etc. Things along those lines.

Is there anything out of the ordinary that I should look out for.

Another thing is a part that the convertor sits in (spigot bush - fits in the crank). What exactly am I looking for here.

    Thanks in advance.

You need to bring that monster to the States for the break-in period. hehe

I am with Hal... What's up with the fuel system?

Attention to detail will be your friend. Are ALL bolts torqued to spec? Maybe replace hoses and belts while they are easy to get to?

Heres what you need for the crank bushing. I had the part number but cant find it, I had a machine shop make mine when I needed it. But
since then someone came up with a part number. I believe "Jason", CoolVanilla on the other site as the part number.

    Heres the part:

    And heres where it goes.

I will get full details/pics for this setup as soon as possible. In a nut shell, fabrication has begun incorportating twin twin 900hp fuel pumps/all new fuel lines - larger diameter front to rear/return system setup/surge tanks/pressure reg/BT fuel rails with crossover/seperate fuel system for Nitrous setup. Looking to have it function as close to how the OEM setup functions.

Break in period anywhere will suit me fine just as long as it is soon. :) Couple of surprises still to come which will be shown upon completion. I can't wait to share with you all.

    Advise taken and thanks.

Got it thanks heaps mate. Inferal found a part numer for me as well.

The part number is 4736283AA Mopar calls it a crankshaft pilot sleeve.

Thanks heaps for the advise guys. Now just to fire it up....WOO HOO!

I, amongst others, can't wait to see this setup in action. May very well be the quickest 300 SRT8 on the planet. That's exciting!
