It's that time again. The Georgia Tech Autoshow is coming back. There have been quite a few interesting vehicle to look at over the last few years. There is NO cost to attend, and if you are feeling up to showing off your car. Even though there is a suggested donation, the website clearly states... Ok, there has been pretty much something for everyone at the shows... from cars to trucks to motorcycles, to exotics, daily drivers race cars, and hybrids. There have been cars straight from the showroom floors to one off custom builds. You name it, and it has probably been represented here at one of the 4 show I've been to. H3LL, maybe this year will be the year my car actually makes it into the show.(even wounded as she is) Any ways, here is a small sampling of pics from prior shows... 2007 2008 2009
Not a chance. No way the Mrs is going to take her car down there and let it sit there all day, or even half the day...I'm lucky if I can get her to go down for an hour just to walk around and look at all the cool stuff. I may take my car down there...but, I've been entering it for the last 2 years. Although every time I enter, it seems something comes up, that keeps me from the show. 2 years ago, it was some broken suspension stuff I had to replace the day of the show...last year it was the threat of hail. :sweat: Only later did I find out they switched parking lots to a covered deck due to the weather. :wallbash: So we'll see...maybe this will be the year.
hahaha sounds like my wife. now she has no choice my cars stripped and we have the civic too so no excuses for car shows for the PT ha ha!!
I plan on going to get lots o' pics...but once again I'm not going to be putting the skittle in the show.
Hahahaha...I can't stay at the show for long. I have to come home and help my brother wrench on his Mustang. Being that there is to be a race between us, hopefully soon, that is more important than the show...:bigwink: and I don't want him to have an excuse when I beat him. :rofl:
