You know what's funny? I had a friend in HS with a Chevette too! He drove the crap out of that thing, he was totally insane, he drove that thing waaaaaaaaaaay beyond it's intended limits, lol! I had a GTI then and he was always tryin to keep up and never could. He finally got a Scirocco but not cause he had too, surprisingly, and rather shockingly cause of the way he drove it, that dang Chevette never broke down! Go figure. Fun times tho, like you said, ... ah, the good ole days, lol!
