H2 is a Tahoe but much heavier. H1's are T Diesel 6.5's. Get about 6 to 8 miles per gallon. GM has been talking about killing the Hummer line completly.
I'd keep the SRT. Fix your issues. Get better mileage and performance. You can get super deals on pickup's now. Like 10K off a Ford F150 for example.
    Your getting hosed.

For those who don't know, everything is a Tahoe. Until you actually learn about the differences. But, I won't confuse anyone with facts.

First response is.... H1 ALPHA is MUCH better..... (Duramax Turbo Diesel)...

Second response is.... MUCH can be done with a H2/H3. It will just need some work. :future::erm::popcorn:

wow ... Well you guys covered everything to say the least! LOL. I had a lot of the same feelings as many of you ..

I loved the exterior look, but the ride and interior were not good enough.
I was able to get them down to 55k (5500 under invoice) by getting them to kick in their dealer holdback. They offer 21k for my car ...

In the end I walked away ... Its not being upside down, I planned on 8 - 10k down payment to bring me back around even.

On top of GM putting Hummer up for sale yesterday ... I figured I could get more for the money I would be putting out for an H2.
A lot of options open up in a $60-70k price range ...
Unfortunately a Range Rover Sport is around $74 without much room to negotiate. The Escalade EXT's are priced similar and they appeal to me ...

I am going to make some changes to my car, fix the problems ..
Go back to looking a little down the road and enjoy the SRT for the summer.

    I appreciate all your opinions!

    Now that makes sense.

I carried $8,850 over to Cindy's Mustang GT/CS from the Tundra and only $1,750 down. Got 6.99% on it, which was good for used, it had 7,700 miles on it. With tax, license, and extended service contract ended up at $37,500.
Payment went down $63 and mileage up 5 mpg. Save about $6.00 per 100 miles. Fill up at about 200 miles instead of 300, 16 gallon tank instead of 26. So even filling at 200 I'm saving about $12.00 on the same 200 miles. So I guess I'll save about $1,500 to $1,650 a year at $4.00 a gallon and driving 10,000 miles. Another $738.00 in payments, insurance went up $22.00 a year. So, works out to about $200.00 a month savings. Not bad considering still starting with $8,850 negative.
I did this all in my head, so it's not exact, but pretty close. Mustang Hallie Logic
