yes, i finally did the flat black vinyl roof. i've been up in the air on this one, but i had to get it done, just to do it. i've been searching around for pricing with install and the average price was $600. all were 3 pc vinyl sheets, as well as the one i have installed on mine. i couldn't find a size big enough for doing it in 1 pc, i looked. if someone knows of a place, please let me know.

some of you are wondering about the carbon fiber roof, well the pix i took before were just the fitment test. i still have to do it in 6k thread, but i plan on waiting till next year, season is just about over.

unfortunately i will be getting the vinyl redone, some issue with cutting around sat antenna. the conditions didn't help, felt like mid 90's with the humidity and blazing sun. not a good idea to be doing it outdoors on days like that. i'll either remove the antenna or make a template to cut out. i'm leaning toward antenna removal, a much cleaner look. i'm also going to try rally stripes on the hood only. i'll take pix, i should have it done next friday.

    some pix coming....

here are some pix. as usual, i'll take some better pix later. sorry!, no photography skills.

it's coming, but not till next spring. took a while to find the right weave. plus to busy + crappy weather + seasons over = wait till next year. regardless it will happen. also, i wanted to do paint and not vinyl, but i was afraid that the cf mold wouldn't fit, due to the added layers of paint.

thanks bratha! always got to represent!!!!

i know! hands were tied. finally became available, just didn't work out.

    Jimmy -
#1) I'm sorry I never returned your text message. I'm a dick. I know that now. (however, you never replied to my last PM either, douche)
#2) Roof looks good, but I don't know if the rear window spoiler really flows with it now. It kinda sticks outta place with a black roof, and silver spoiler. Know what I mean???
#3) I miss you pookie. Call me.

    1) i don't recall getting a pm. i've been having problems with my computer and messages wouldn't always go thru for me.
    2) i'm aware of the roof spoiler, same issue as having the cf roof on, but it looks worse with the cf roof. i was expecting it to look way out of place, but seeing it in person, it's actually not that bad. i'm still going to paint it semi black, but not till the cf roof goes on. i'm fine with it for now and it somewhat balances the deck lid spoiler.
    3) now see, you going to make me cry. i miss you too boo bear. i will call you soon, on the dl. LMAO!

Roof looks great, it flows real well with the hood and trunk, but like what was mentioed before, the roof spoiler stands out now...I'd maybe try the same flat black vinyl on it also.

    i'll give you holler soon.

    cool!

for some reason i couldn't find a sheet large enough. i checked stickercity.com and they sell vinyl large enough to fit a 1 pc for the roof. i called my vinyl installer and he said that he could get it too. so, next week he'll redue my roof, but with 1pc flat black vinyl. i asked him how much, because scity said $99 w/ free ground. my vinyl guy told me don't worry about it. i can get it for you for free and i install it. he said that he just wants me to be happy, awesome. he claims that doing a 1 pc is a btch, but he'll give it a try. so i'll keep you all posted.
