Saw this on the news this morning... apparently they were racing someone in a BMW M3. I just feel bad for the parents of the two that were killed. That and Maddy's not dating any teenagers who drive corvettes...or other fast easily smashed cars.

the way i look at it ... a lot of you may call the kid stupid or the parents stupid ...

but the point of the matter is at 18 years old, WE WERE ALL DUMB AND STUPID .. it just cost this kid his life .... lets keep in mind he probably had a 17 year old hottie in the car he was showing off for and got in over his head ...

i will say as i have gotten older that there are many things I did with my cars, with a girl in the car, or just showing off that could have got me seriously hurt .. this kid was just unlucky ...

but see it whatever way you want .. just dont make the kids life seem worthless by being one of the many people who are calling him stupid ...

 

i lost control on the highway driving waaaay too fast and slide sideways. dont really know how far i went, but i knew i had fucked up. luckily, i kept the car is a reasonable amount of control and it didnt flip.

 

Reminds me of the kids driving the M5 and flying 200 feet in the air and hitting an Oak tree 20 feet of the ground. They found the engine 20 feet away from the car.

 

What a shame. The families are left with frustration the rest of there lives.


This happens far to often and I am sure we all know somebody or someone that has been affected by this type of senseless loss.


Anyone under 18 should not be driving a vehicle with over 200hp.

Second they need a performance driving course.

 

wow...... having driven that road many times when working in the east bay, i can see how a young kid in a fast car could do this without even racing!!! what a shame and i feel for the parents...... one more reason why i drill into my 13 year olds head why this kind of driving will kill you!!!
