Newly released from SLP, we purchased the remainder of the first production run since it will be about a month and a half before the next production is out. They are SFI approved, keyed and appear to be a great quality product. We are still working out the belt requirements since the recommended belt does not exist according to Dayco. We'll have a solution tomorrow.

This kit is custom-fitted to the 2005-07 Charger/Magnum/300C 5.7/6.1L Hemi chassis (no tweaking or fabrication required!) and is fully compatible with the factory anti-lock braking and traction-control systems. It includes a waterproof electrical solenoid, an activation switch, plug-in wires, CNC-bent steel lines with correct OE fittings, mounting hardware, and detailed installation instructions.

These kits do require special care to bleed the brakes fully of any air. SLP knows this but it isn't uncommon for DCX vehicles to need extensive bleeding (if you've done stainless brake lines on your SRT-8, you already know this). In SLP's testing, it even took them 7 rounds of power bleeding to get all of the air out of the locks so we recommend having additional brake fluid on hand.

These brake-control kits are in stock and ready to ship.

Josh, are there any side effects to using this dampener? Anything negatively affecting the vehicle's accessories? I wish I could have seen this a couple weeks ago! haha

The damper will slow down your accessories 25% which is a large decrease. Usually accessories as a rule of thumb have at least 15% overdesign built into them. Because these are so new, I can't say what the side effects will be - whether the alternator will charge slower, whether the cooling system will work less efficient, whether the air conditioning won't cool as well. It's a wait and see thing with these. I'm not expecting any substantial losses, though.

Line locks are nice in that they will allow you to power break and do burnouts without having to apply the rear brakes at the same time. You can also use them at the line to launch with quicker reaction times since you can lauch with a click of the finger.
