The best way to buy these kind of vehicles is used....you can pick up a very low mileage 1 yr old garage queen for 20-30% less than a new one.......leaving more $$$ to mod.....that is why I bought an 07....it will be a practically new car in another 18 months....
As with all the new 300s, it looks as if Fiat is trying to price the car out of the market. In my area, suburban Philadelphia, I have only seen 4 new 300s on the road to date! Unimpresive. My 2008 srt8 300 listed for $46,500 with all options except the rear tv. It looks like the 2011 equivilent will be over $53,000. At 4 years old, I would love to get a new replacement, but not for that kind of money. The new 200 is a good value in the market, but the 300s are not.
Just gotta wait for Fiat to pull out and Dodge to start hurting again LOL. I got my brand new SRT8 (eveything but sunroof, including "premium" wheels) for $31K back when Dodge was circling the toilet bowl...
All the improved uprades vs the previous gen is worth the price of admission. But straight up...that beast is rounding $50K to drive it off the showroom. Common knowledge is the depreciation value is steep with these cars. Lots of quality low mile used performance sedans to choose from for that price.
