HellooooOOOOOoooooo!!!! Wake up!! 468 still and its mostly Californians. I KNOW, without a doubt there are some hardcore HARDCORE LX fanatics out there who are just itchin' to come to this. Think of it as Spring Break but without all the drunken co-eds and frat boys...unless you're into that. Um, yeah think of it as Spring Break. The California sunshine, the mild weather, the acres and acres of beautiful cars. You might even get a whiff of race gas, hear the whine of a turbo. You'll definitely see hundreds of grown adults making over their cars. Dozens of people breaking out their detailing supplies because they missed a spot. It really is a sight to behold.

Okay, I'm getting all poetic because I got good news this morning, but still this really is THE end-all be-all for the year. That and it really does kick off the spring and summer M&G, carshow and track season. So come on out, stretch your legs, feed your senses. You just need to register...

Just 24 more makes 500. I'm having a bad day, somebody hit my car in the parking lot. So cheer me up and make it 500 by the weekend! ;)

Kidding kidding. Seriously, this event is a ton of fun and unlike any other event I've been to. Sure there are all-Mopar events, or conventions like SEMA or track days, but HUNDREDS of LXes in one place? And not one naysayer or euro-snob or econo-box commute car lover in the bunch? What's not to love?? :)

Yay, five more since I last looked. I'll post up new stats when I get back from taking the car in.

Alright, yesterday might've been a slow day, but we got FIVE more registered, for a new total of 481. Just 19 more for 500 and we still got over a month before the event. Bring on the stragglers! :)

All five were from California, which now accounts for 354 of the attendees. C'mon out-of-staters, why let the Californians have all the fun?

Added ONE Charger, TWO Challengers, and TWO Magnums.

Chargers are up to 165 counting the special Two-Door one-off.
300s are up to 90, just 10 away from 100 counting the 300 with a Magnum face. ;)
Challengers are doing good at 76 total signed up.
Magnums are up to 140 including the Chargum and the 300-um.

    Added three 2006s (167), and two 2009s (64).

    Holding steady:
    2005s - 72
    2007s - 97
    2008s - 59
    2010s - 15
    Other - 7

Added THREE R/Ts (Two Challengers and One Charger) and TWO SRTs (Both Magnums)

Added ONE Bright Silver Metallic (60), THREE Brilliant Black Crystal Pearls (149), and ONE Inferno Red Crystal Pearl (40). These are also still the top three colors attending.

Tomorrow for Friday I will make separate posts to break down the Geographic, Model Specific and Color Specific rankings so you can know where your state/region, Car Model and Color stand.

Keep spreading the word and nudging and arm-twisting. ;)

    By State/Region:

360 - California (Holy cow, I don't think there's been an LX M&G with this many Californians in one place, ever!)
32 - Arizona (Strong showing from a neighboring state!)
24 - Texas (Strong showing from HALF-WAY across the country!)
11 - British Columbia (Canadians are showing the other states how its done!)
10 - Nevada (Should be at LEAST this many coming from next door practically!)
9 - Utah (Way to go Utah, will we see double digits?)
    - Washington (Washington always has good representation at these, are there more coming?)
    5 - Oregon (C'mon Oregon!)
4 - Ohio (Wow, four from Ohio no less!)
3 - Alberta (Any more from Alberta?)
    - Illinois (The Ohioans are makin' ya look bad! C'mon Illinois!)
    - Ontario (Neck and neck with Alberta!)
2 - Florida (Possibly the farthest drive?)
    - Kansas (Yay, Kansas!)
    - New Mexico (Woohoo, New Mexico!)

And the singletons, surely there's more from these states!

    Colorado
    Idaho
    Indiana
    Missouri
    Nebraska
    New Jersey
    New York
    Wyoming

That's TWENTY states and THREE regions, TWO countries represented. And there's 30 other states I don't see represented. What's holding you back? Wouldn't this be one hell of a vacation weekend? Mid-march smack-dab in the middle of California's car-culture capital? With HUNDREDS of other people who are just as nuts about their LX as you are?

    By Model:

169 - Dodge Charger (Including ONE two-door custom)
140 - Dodge Magnum (Including ONE Chargum custom and ONE 300-um custom)
    91 - Chrysler 300 (Including ONE Mag-300 custom)
77 - Dodge Challenger (That's a LOT of Challengers in ONE place)

It is actually conceivable at this point that we could have over 100 of each of the LX/LYs. Just NINE more 300s and 23 more Challengers is all it'd take. I know we've GOT to have that.

    By Year:

    167 - 2006s (Workin' on 200?)
100 - 2007s (Finally broke into the triple digits!)
72 - 2005s (Still showing the newer models how its done! )
64 - 2009s (Not bad for a newer model year)
    61 - 2008s (2009s are makin' ya look bad, c'mon!)
16 - 2010s (Looks like someone's gettin' the word out!)
7 - Other (Vendors, other Mopars, surprises?)

    By Model/Trim:

    55 - Dodge Charger R/T
    47 - Dodge Charger SRT
    - Dodge Magnum R/T
39 - Dodge Magnum SXT (Who says the V6 guys aren't as passionate?)
    38 - Chrysler 300C SRT
    - Dodge Challenger SRT
    36 - Chrysler 300C
    - Dodge Magnum SRT
    32 - Dodge Challenger R/T
    25 - Dodge Charger R/T Daytona
    15 - Dodge Charger SXT
    13 - Dodge Magnum SE
11 - Dodge Charger Super Bee
    9 - Other
    7 - Dodge Charger SE
    - Dodge Charger SE Plus
    6 - Chrysler 300 Base/LX
    - Dodge Challenger R/T Classic
    5 - Chrysler 300 Touring
    3 - Chrysler 300 Limited
    - Dodge Magnum R/T AWD
    2 - Chrysler 300C Heritage
    - Dodge Charger R/T AWD

    And the singletons:

    Chrysler 300C SRT Design
    Dodge Challenger SE
    Dodge Magnum Base
    Dodge Magnum SXT AWD
    Dodge Other

Even with all the SRTs and the R/Ts, there are still a huge number of SXTs, SEs, and 25 Daytonas? 11 Super Bees? And look at all those singletons!

    By Color:

151 - Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl (Good grief that's a LOT of black cars... SWEET!!)
60 - Bright Silver Metallic (Just imagine... a sea of silver...)
40 - Inferno Red Crystal Pearl (Anybody else seeing red?)
32 - Other (So I know like 10 of these are non-LXes, but that still means 22 LXes with non-OEM colors...ooooo)
    31 - Silver Steel Metallic
28 - TorRed (That's a whole heck of a lot of "LOOK AT ME!" Red. )
24 - Hemi Orange Pearl (Nice to see Hemi's signature color out in force!)
17 - Cool Vanilla (Is still tied with...)
    - Stone White
    11 - Magnesium Pearl
10 - B5 Blue Pearl (I go gaga when I see ONE of these, let alone TEN in one place!)
    - Midnight Blue Pearl
    8 - Steel Blue Metallic
    6 - Dark Titanium Metallic
    - Go Mango! (Yay! Six mangos!)
    - Top Banana (Woot! Six Bananas!)
    5 - Deep Water Blue
    - Detonator Yellow
4 - Deep Lava Red Pearl
    3 - Clearwater Blue Pearl
    - Mineral Gray Metallic
    - Plum Crazy Pearl (Hey CC, there's THREE now!!)
    2 - Marine Blue Pearl
    - Sublime Metallic (At last! More than one!!)

    And the singletons:

    Light Sandstone Metallic
    Linen Gold Metallic Pearl
    Satin Jade Pearl

That's right, we've got 487 cars representing at least 26 different OEM colors PLUS another 32 colors that aren't OEM.

You can finally see just about all the High Impact colors IN PERSON and see that yes, there is a difference between Detonator Yellow and Top Banana. Literally a rainbow of LXes.

So again, if you're on the fence (must be chafing by now), get off it and sign up. Ask people who've gone, check out old threads, look into joining one of the many cross-country convoys. The registration is the easy part, after that you can focus on booking a room, taking time off, planning for the drive and thinking about those last minute mods. But if you don't register, you're just gonna miss out and you'll have to wait a WHOLE year for the next one.

    So c'mon, register already!

    ONE of each - a 300 (92 including the Mag300), a Challenger (78), a Charger (170 including the two-door custom) and a Magnum (141 including the 300um and Chargum).

TWO more 2007s (102 total now)
ONE more 2008 (62 total now)
ONE more 2009 (65 total now)

    The rest holding steady

    2005s - 72
    2006s - 167
    2010s - 16
    Others - 7

TWO more SRTs (300 and Challenger)
TWO more R/Ts (Charger and Magnum)

ONE more Bright Silver Metallic (61 total)
THREE more Brilliant Black Crystal Pearls (154 total)

I'll cut y'all some slack tonight and tomorrow since its Valentine's day, but I sure hope I see at least a dozen more come Monday! :)

Alright, looks like we added SIX and lost ONE 2009 Hemi Orange Challenger SRT from California. :(

Ah well, the new total is now 497, just shy of 500 with just over four weeks until the big event! Your window to register is closing fast so get on it already!

    Since yesterday we added:

ONE from Arizona (33 total), THREE from California (367 now), a new state with the addition of ONE from Louisiana (1 is a start!), and ONE from Oregon (6 now).

TWO Chargers (173 including the two-door custom) and TWO Magnums (143 including the 300um and Chargum customs), no new 300s (still 92 including the Mag300 custom) or Challengers (77 now since the one Hemi Orange dropped out). Also added TWO Dodge "others" (Three of these now). Hmm...

Added ONE 2005 (73 total), THREE 2006s (171 total) and TWO 2007s (104 total). No new 2008s (Still 62), lost one 2009 (64 now), and no new 2010s (16 still).

Lost ONE SRT and added THREE R/Ts (ONE Charger and TWO Magnums) and ONE Daytona R/T!

ONE Cool Vanilla (18 now), TWO Inferno Red Crystal Pearls (42 now), ONE Midnight Blue Pearl (11 now), ONE "Other" color (33 now), and ONE Sublime Metallic (THREE now, woohoo!).
