    So Cal, The OC
let's g everyone...The Spring Festival is where you will get to see it all. Those who came out last year could not believe how large this event is, from Stock to wild it is all here. All you have to do is register the event is free and we have the Double Tree Hotel for lodging if you are traveling from out of town. If you don't know anyone, you will when the weekend is over.

Alright, thought I'd change it up a bit and start doing stats during the day so more people can see just how big this thing is getting.

After three weeks of open registration, the grand total is 348. Can we make 400 over the weekend?? :dance4:

Once again we've got TWO countries (US and Canada) represented with 18 states and 3 regions between them.

Even though this is based in California there are still 106 attendees coming from out of state and out of country, in fact the Canadians now number 16 and could be competing with Texas (24) and Arizona (22) for attendance numbers at this rate! :)

Thanks to a big influx of Challengers there are now at least 50 of each of the four Models. The 300s and Challengers are still lagging in the double digits while the Chargers and Magnums are past 100 a piece.

The Model Years are pretty evenly divided. 2006s are still out in front with 115, but there are 74 2007s and 60 2005s. Even the relatively new guys, the 2008s and 2009s are doing well with 44 a piece. I figure the 2010s are still pretty darn new, which explains the fact there are only 6.

Now, Model/Trim combos: There are now TWENTY-FIVE different Model and Trim combinations. Yesterday we added our first AWD Charger, an R/T no less. So the Magnums no longer have a lock on the AWD distinction. ;)

Even though the R/Ts and SRTs and Cs get a lot of fanfare, there are still 73 attendees who do not fall into those categories! Way to go!!

There are also Twenty-Five different colors, not counting the TWENTY attendees who listed their color as other! So lots to look at and probably more than few colors you'd only see in magazines otherwise. :)

Looks like we're on a roll. Since I did the stats post yesterday we added another 14 registrants! We're now up to 362!!

California now has over 250 attendees and Arizona has passed Texas for the number two spot with 25 attendees. There are still only singletons from the following states: Colorado, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, and Wyoming. Also, where are the folks from Tennessee, Kentucky, Georgia, Alabama? What about Indiana or Michigan?

We added more of each of the four models since yesterday. The Chargers are still in the lead with 126, with the Magnums not far behind at 110. The 300s are starting to pick up some slack with 66 and the new kids, the Challengers are bringing 53. Didn't y'all have more than that last year? I swear I saw acres of Challengers I wanted to take home with me last year. Acres!

We also added more of every model year as well. There are now 120 2006s and even 7 2010s, with the other years numbering in between.

Between the Challengers, Chargers and Magnums, expect to see over 100 R/Ts!! Same goes for the SRTs between all four models. The SXTs, SEs, and other V6s are representing well too. No one can say this show is just about horsepower or just about show cars. There's something for everyone!

There are still only one of these variants though: 300C SRT Design, Challenger SE, Charger R/T AWD, and Magnum SXT AWD. You'll find multiples of just about everything else. 18 Daytonas! 8 Super Bees! 4 Challenger R/T Classics and 2 300C Heritages!

And the colors! Oh the colors! Literally a Mopar friggin' rainbow! 111 Brilliant Black Crystal Pearls are leading the pack, with Bright Silver Metallic following at 49 and Inferno Red Crystal Pearl at 31. Even so, there are 22 other colors, plus 21 cars whose paint color is listed as "Other".

The only singletons are Light Sandstone Metallic, Marine Blue Pearl, Satin Jade Pearl and Sublime Metallic. Just realized there are currently NO Linen Gold 300s out there. Very sad as that's a beautiful color on that car, especially in the bright California sun!

Anyway, I'm still hoping/expecting the total to hit or approach 400 by the end of the weekend. So again, get crackin'. Make some phone calls, look up those friends you haven't seen in a while. See what they're up to and why they haven't signed up already.

To check out the stats yourself or to see who's already signed up, head over to http://www.socallx.com/2010SFStatistics.aspx.

For details on this event, check back often at either the first post on this thread or go direct to www.socallx.com.

Alright, since yesterday's stats post we've dropped one (we'll miss ya, Joe!) and added another 11. New total is 372!

1 Arizonan took Joe's place, and we added another 8 Californians, and one each from Ontario and Oregon.

We also added three 300s, five Chargers, one Challenger and two Magnums.

We may have lost one 2005, but we gained four more 2006s, 3 more 2007s and 2008s, and one more 2009.

We added 6 SRTs (300s, Challengers, Chargers and Magnums included in there), one Touring, one R/T, one SE, one SE Plus and one SXT.

We gained four more Brilliant Black Crystal Pearls, one more "Other", and two each of Silver Steel Metallic, Steel Blue Metallic, and TorRed.

Good showing for a NFL play-off Sunday. ;)

Oh oh, was just notified there is at least ONE Chargum in the mix!! That's right a Magnum with a Charger front end. If you haven't seen them before, they are awesome to see in person.

Are there any other cars out there that are actually combos? 300/Magnum, 300/Charger?? Anything like that? If so, let me know and I'll give you your own category.

Awesome, we've added 12 more since I ran the stats yesterday. At 384 we're in spitting distance of the 400s! And one month three weeks and some change left until the big event!! :dance4:

That's 11 Californians and one Nevadan.

300s have broken into the 70s now and the Challengers are coming up on 60 total. Chargers are within site of 150 and the Magnums are coming along behind, almost to 115.

Wonder of wonders, we might actually have TEN 2010s by the end of the week. We've got nine as of today. The 2009s passed the 2008 total and are now at 50. 2006s still way out in front at 127, but the 2007s might see triple digits by the end of the week. 2005s are hanging in there at 62, but I know there's gotta be more out there.

There are now four more SRTs, one more Touring, four more R/Ts, one more SE, one more Super Bee (almost TEN!!), and one more "Other other". Hmm...

Colors! We added another B5 Blue, making for EIGHT of them in this one show! Bright Silver Metallics now number 50. Brilliant Black Crystal Pearls are creeping up on 120. There are now 20 Hemi Orange Pearls to feast your eyes on. We also added more red, with one more Inferno Red Crystal Pearl and two more TorReds. There are two more "Other" colors and one more Silver Steel Metallic.

Still waiting on that HUGE influx of Challengers. ;)

Keep 'em coming folks. You do not want to miss this. Hell, I'm bummed that I'm missing this. Why do you think I'm pushing this? So I can see all the pictures and videos, hear the stories and most importantly so there'll be another big event just like this or better next year when I can bring Madeline with me!! :)

Woot, waited all day to see 400 come up.

Alright folks, we are officially into the 400s and well past halfway to 700 and up. :)

We added 16 since my last stats post, including 15 Californians and 1 Nevadan.

    Out of the total:

35% are Chargers, 29% are Magnums, 300s and Challengers make up 34% combined.

    2006s are 33%, 2007s are 22%, and years 2005, 2008, 2009 and 2010 make up another 44%.

31% are Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl, 13% are Bright Silver Metallic, and the other 56% are divided up among 23 other standard colors and 26 "OTHER" colors. ;)

We added five more SRTs (300s, Challengers and Chargers), one more Limited, five R/Ts (Challengers, Chargers and Magnums), two Super Bees, and three SXTs (all Magnums).

So yeah, 400 registrations in less than a month and we got a couple months left before the event. This is gonna be HUGE!!! :)

Alright! Friday night!! We've added another nine now for a total of 423. That's in just the first 29 days of registration! :dance4:

There are now over 300 Californians (added 7 since yesterday), Arizona (26) is now pulling ahead of Texas (24), and Nevada (10) has joined the other five states/regions with double digits or better. Even so there are still another 18 states and regions represented besides that. Yeah!!!

We added more of each model. There are now EIGHTY 300s (including the one with a Magnum nose), along with over 140 Chargers and over 120 Magnums. Challengers are hanging in there with a respectable 64. We got time, do you think we could have triple digits for EACH?? How cool would that be?

We added more 2005s, 2006s, 2008s and 2009s since yesterday as well. The 2006s are up to 141 now and the 2007s are edging closer to triple digits with 89. 2005s are doing good at 70 and 2008s and 2009s are both in the 50s. I'm still holding out for the 2010s to have double digits but for now they've got 9.

There are now 30 300Cs, 33 if you include the Heritage and SRT Design variations. We added one 300C, four SRTs (one 300, two Challengers and one Magnum), three R/Ts (one Charger and two Magnums), and another Daytona!!

We added another B5 Blue Pearl (9), another Bright Silver Metallic (53), four more Brilliant Black Crystal Pearls (130), one more Deep Lava Red Pearl (4 --- FOUR IN ONE PLACE? WOW!! Y'all could start a club now. :)), one more Go Mango (five in one place, another club in the making!) and another "Other" (29 mystery colors now). Like the skittles ad says "Taste the rainbow!" Or something. Okay so I'm punch-drunk at the keyboard... :)

Anyway, the mix just gets more interesting with each day.

Interesting things to know... how many LXes still have their original engine? How many LXes are owned by spouses/couples/family members (You brought yours and your wife brought hers for example)? How many LXOMs have we got in one place? How many of these are your commute car? How many of these LXes are a "first car ever" and how many are the "fun" or "weekend car"? Everyone's got a story when it comes to their LX and their reason for coming. You get to go to this event and share yours and get to know about other people's stories. It really is a wonderful group of people.

So c'mon get registered, get your buddies registered? Start planning that road trip, start thinking about all the pictures and video you'll take. Start sweating those last minute mods you JUST realized you've just GOT to get done before SpringFest. Just get it done! :)
