The cruise on Brice Rd. has gotten L-A-M-E. Everyone goes to Heath now, both nights. WAY more people and TONS more vehicles (and fewer cops...heh heh). There's a pre-Nats GTG with the Viper guys: http://forums.viperclub.org/general...979-pre-mopar-nats-get-together-columbus.html Hooters at Polaris on Thurs. evening. It's "Viper-focused" but not "Viper Only", so if you've got a badass Mopar and are in town early, come on by! I'll be there. My plan is to do the cruise on Friday night (Heath), go to the track on Sat., then do the cruise on Sat. night (Heath). We have a pretty good 'secret stash' parking place in Heath (TurboBuckeye knows where it is...heh heh), or you can PM me for my cell and I'll get you directions/GPS numbers. The Admin here also has my cell if you don't see me online. If you have a GMRS radio, hop on the low-power channels and ask around for "Peggy Automatic". That'll be us.

That's great that Walter's coming back. We need to get his tire-fryer to do a couple of laps at Heath. On video.
I agree with you that Brice Road has become pretty lame in recent years. I think we will have some Mopar Nats weekend noobies with us again this year so some of them may want to see the famous Brice Rd cruise. Either way, they are gonna notice a HUGE different between Brice (Fri) and Heath (Sat). My car should be "show-ready" by Thursday night (hopefully) so I may try to stop by the Thursday night gathering. I know where the stash spot is in Heath. I'll find ya on Saturday.... Yea, that would be a sight to see for sure. I only got a brief minute to check out his ride at the LX & Beyond Nats but looking forward to seeing it this weekend. He has done a lot more to the engine since last year I believe.
Just got back home after Saturday night's cruise in Heath. TOTAL BLAST! I think we need some daytime shots of Walt's supersick ride. TONS more cool stuff coming including video of THE Best Burnout at Heath 2009 (from a forum member no less! ) Thanks for coming everyone!
Best Burnout in Heath 2009 RDP Motorsport, dynosteve showing the MOPAR crowd at the Saturday night, Heath Supercruise how to do a burnout!!! ..who is that masked man running from the car just seconds before it happens?... uh...oh!!! City of Heath - Mopar Nationals Super Cruise (20' burnout left by DynoSteve)
AWESOME!!! Thanks for the video, Anthony! I can't wait for the full-length HD version. It's pretty dark out....kinda tough to tell who's jogging away from the RDP Challenger. Could have been anyone!
was well worth it, the best $140 i ever spent it was a guy i knew from australia, came up to me and told me to show them how its done hehe
Heh heh....you should tell the guy that came up to your window to work on his accent. Thanks for the show, DynoSteve! I'm pretty sure Anthony has a shot of the remnants after your burnout. There's no 'build up' or 'fade out'. It's ON then OFF. Personally, I thought it was a fantastic ad for what RDP does with these vehicles.
Had a great time. It was great to see everyone that had the chance to attend. I posted up all of my pics and video from the weekend here: Friday, August 7 - http://www.lxforums.com/board/showthread.php?t=179118 Saturday, August 8 - http://www.lxforums.com/board/showthread.php?t=179129 Sunday, August 9 - http://www.lxforums.com/board/showthread.php?t=179138
