I was reading on allpar that the 2009 Chally will have 392 gears. That is the same ratio as the Jeep. I don't think that big of a ring gear can fit in our Benz box down under so I am guessing they are moving to a dana in 2009. The benz relationship is severed and the euro is much more expensive than the dollar so Chrysler could save bank switching to Dana as well as get bigger gears in the rear. Finally, I saw the Super Stock Chally has a Dana in it. The transplant work has already been figured out. Has anyone else heard anything about the 2009 setup? C.
Strange how car mfgs make so many changes after yr 1 model yr. I bought the 1st model yr of the new tbird back in 2002 and they put a whole new engine in the 2003's on up. I was po'ed big time.
