Final pricing is not set. Everyone is posting estimated pricing.

I'm not sure you can easily beat some of the other factors that make a Cadillac a Cadillac. They've just added a whole lot of performance to the other things that make them a great car.

i would never equate cadillac to a "great car" but they are nice for about two years. then the interior turns to shit and parts start failing.

i will say they have a badass engine now to go along with a fancy interior....but i would never buy one.

Whats up Bud? Caddy`s are not what they used to be.....i almost bought a CTS-V instead of my charger, but i know several people that had them and they could not keep em out of the shop. As far as the 2 year comment goes about the interior and parts.....that must of been a good one, cus my friends CTS-V`S were breaking down 6 months into ownership! Oh ya, i`m still trying to find sum tanto stryders, so let me know if your buddies are willing to part.

Sounds about like everyone I know with an LX. Coolant, tranny leak, rotors, 1-2 shift, headliner, trunk/bumper paint issue, power steering pump, etc....and that's just what I've had my car in for! It doesn't bother me, but it does make me tune out all the comments about other cars being always in the shop because the LX's have been far from trouble free. I was in Georgetown/Round Rock a couple weeks ago during the hurricane. It was nice taking my car on some of the hill country roads!

The '09 CTS-V has nothing to do with any other Cadillac ever built and to slam them based on other Cads is not only ignorant of current product reality but just plain dumb! At over $40K less than the ZR-1, it is far from overpriced. I understand this is a Dodge forum but I also thought we were smarter and a bit more mature than other forums and this new Cad is one Hell of a well-priced beast!

I dont think its dumb to at least be concerned...

From things i have actually witnessed with the CTS and how some have spent 20 months of a 27 month lease at the dealership getting major repairs, i think its fair to at least pose the question about if they have worked out issues they faced...i understand its a totally new car, but at one point the old CTS that faced all those issues was "totally new" as well...

If it turns out the car is awesome....ill be the first one to say its awesome...but i do not think it is a totally "ignorant" statement to at least wonder if GM has worked out all its bugs...I have no problem with the price either....for what it is i'd sure as hell take it for that price

X2!!!! I witnessed the same thing and was simply making a concerned statement. It never ceases to amaze me at how disrespectful sum people can be on these forums.....cus they would`nt say that shit if you were close enough to get your hands on em!

So play off each other and ignore what the experts are writing. That IS childish ignorance! Data and expert opinion is what the insecure one above needs to have "...close enough to get your hands on em..." I am not on a Dodge forum to uptalk a Cad. I WOULD like one of you Dodge fans to take my SRT-10 off my hands so I could go learn first hand about a seemingly fantastic 556 h.p. car. How about you MoPar fans buying both of my 500 h.p. SRT-10s and you will never hear from me again? They have been and are great trucks but I never wanted trucks. I wanted engines and those same engines in a car would have cost almost three times as much. Now I can get a car with MORE h.p. for not much more than these trucks listed at. I am done responding to this thread because no one has any information to add. Unknowledgeable and biased opinions help not. Mods, please close this thread. Thank you.
