The new CTS-V is nothing but the best American muscle car available and it is made in America, by Americans out of almost totally American parts for an American company. The price increase over the last model is surprisingly low. There are years of inflation involved, a MUCH better engine with what, 156? more h.p., better everything else, too. As I see it, it is a new ZR1 with more room, two extra doors (and that is a plus to many of us), more ground clearance for actual realworld driveability, and only a few less horses from a smaller supercharger for what? $43,000 less? Still sound like too much? Not everyone can play in that field and that is called exclusivity and for Cadillac it will work very well with this model. Good Luck and CONGRATS!!! Cadillac!
I hope so....like i said...i am a fan of the V series in theory but from what i have heard from owners....i wouldnt buy one till i was SURE those bugs were worked out...a 556hp paperweight isnt as cool as it sounds!!.... COME ON GM!!...SOMETHING!!!! lol
Your tellin me. When Mike from AZ Power and Sound picked me up at the Phoenix Airport in John McCain's Procharged CTS-V, I asked him to hit it a few times. OMFG! It gave me a whole new level of respect for those cars.
GXP is nowhere near the car the V Series is. The Cad is a close cousin of the ZR1, not an Aussie. SRT8, Where did you see a $62K pricetag or any other pricing info, please?
I saw the 60K price tag on Edmonds (during one of their video reviews)...but they said its well worth the 60k haha i dont think it looks as good as the old CTS V but still not a bad lookin car....just needs some wider rubber
Why is it a "HaHa" when experts give it a fantastic review? Is it the price? My Night Runner stickered well above $50K. Value costs and the CTS-V is $43K UNDER its cousin the ZR1. Do you let biases blind you? Sometimes forums remind me of "My school's better than yours!" Great vehicles are great, no matter your personal prefs and HaHa seems wrong. Thnx for telling me pricing comment came from Edmunds. I am glad you like your SRT. Want two more? ...... I just checked out Edmunds and they said $65,000. Anyone else see any pricing info on this new Cad? thnx!
I dont think you took the "haha" in the right context buddy....i meant that as a "he said it as in its worth way more than 60k so you should be amazed at what you get for 60k"....considering if you want something even close you have to spend double it to get an M5.... i wasnt "haha" look at the stupid GM lol....cause as i said in almost all my posts...i like the whole V series espeically the CTS V...
Okay Stevo. Thnx! I am working on Wifey for a CTS-V but will have trouble financing even if I sell my two SRT-10s and that has nothing to do with the media imagined "credit crisis". It is because I have a LONG history of driving too nice vehicles and am deeply in debt.

i have seen this car at an auto show and it is damn impressive looking!!! did seem a bit on the smallish side though.
The 2 door 'V' will be the shit!! I don't think the caddy is designed for 22's, its not as bold as the lx's when it comes th the wheel wells.
