In addition to the daily threads, I'd like to build a how-to thread each month. This is the initial calendar I have planned. Does anyone have requests? Each month this thread will address a different aspect of car detailing. January 08: Keeping your car clean through the Northern winter February 08: Interior Detailing March 08: Washing April 08: Compounding / Polishing May 08: Glazing / Waxing / Sealing June 08: Wheels / Wells / Tires July 08: Wet Sanding August 08: Windows / Tint September 08: Winter Preparation All input as to the calendar and the presentation format is welcome.
Excellent. Ill try to post some small videos along with the write-up. My Nikon D80 was just "lost" as I moved into my new house last month. I just ordered a D40x that should be here Monday, hopefully the picture quality will improve over the current shots I have up on here.

I'm wrapping up my Jan 08 write-up. Just waiting for my garage to be cleaned out as it had become a furniture storage facility in the past week. (I just moved and have new furniture coming in and out) Next Saturday there will be a decent write up about: Washing in winter Sealing wheels Why seal and or wax paint and windows
Can you lock down a subforum for these only? Duplicate the tutorial for discussion on a regular forum and have one with just the tutorials in it? ...not that I'd expect a lot of noise but certainly some discussion and then you don't have to hunt for the source.
If it satys here ill keep it cleaned up make sure its stickied. If it gets it own subsection even better.
