mash and go brotha. That is what Drag Radials are for. As long as you correctly warm them up, good track prep, and a fairly warm day, you should hook up at go time.
I just dropped off your NOS bottle and will pick it up in the morning. Your getting a "top secret" tune. You get my vote...:clapping:
wow ron I still cant get traction with DRs, I have to roll in a whir before I stab it. My best 60 foot is 1.93. How r u doing it

You are not warming up the DR's good enough OR the track prep is bad. My best 60' so far is a 1.73, but mostly I am doing 1.80's. Keep at it, you now have to relearn your entire track launching abilities. lol
It depends... Normally you just mash it and hang on. If you're using the Mother Mopar Performance wheelie bar it's best to roll into it a bit.
And Bud, now that you've initiated the thread hijack (gees, it took 5 pages) how come Momo hasn't crawled under your car to measure shock travel, coil gap, and compression at ride height?
As stated before. A good 60' is a combination of a track prep, tire heat and pressure, and a driver able to adjust to variables. If your car has too much torque and weak links in the above conditions, you're going to blow off your tires. Nitto and BFG's are more likely to lose traction than M&H's or Hoosiers. High stall adds to the problems, as your creating more torque. More shock load can cause wheel hop and break parts. We will be seeing the next weakest link this year. As we start hitting 1.5X 60' times while launching our battle wagons, somethings gotta give.
Now come on. You've dyno'd 596RWHP. I might do 550 with a 100 shot. I might have you on torque a little. N2O is immediate though. You haven't done a 3000 stall launch yet either. Your car sounded wicked after your fix yesterday. And that's at altitude. Sandbagger. :worthy:
I was speaking figuratively. I would be surprised if you don't have the pulleys in your trunk... [just to be fair and even things up] Hal, the weight advantage can be easily overcome. You know those little hand held signs they make for kids to hold up when passing cars on the freeway? Things like "HI", "Flat Tire", stuff like that. Well, just as your staging, beep the horn to get him to look over and hold up your sign. "Your trailer is on FIRE!"
