Id run a higher octane as well, I try to get as close to 100 octane as I can. Usually 2 gallons or less in the tank of 93 and add 3 or 4 gallons...
If all your plugs arent in one piece then Id say you didnt suffer any damage. I wonder if you exceeded the flow rate of your nozzle or plate?...

I was scared out of my mind the whole time up there, insane stuff. Had a blast though and we had a great turn out. Well worth the 400 mile drive.
