I was so aggravated after the way it was running last weekend that these found their way on the car...... Only good thing that came out of last weekend was beating Tony(InfernoSRT8) on motor after he came gunning for me like a Vulture on a wounded Rabbit............lol.....I asked him if he wanted to run again and he showed me I was #1.....LMAO. So even though I have calmed down some and am working to straighten out the issues I have gotten used to seeing those on the windows. Also kinda started looking at Vipers again(gonna have one of those before I die even if I have to sell my soul to do it).Any one have an early Viper they wanna trade......lol Anyway,I am hoping to have it running like it's old self by the April 26th event.
I wouldn't, I would try my best to get it back to running where you like it and then keep it just for the fact that the Maggie is out of production. But if it was being traded for a new Viper then to answer your question " I love my jeep, but it would be gone if it was helping me purchase a 2008 Viper" Just my 2 cents.....
You have a soul? <scratches head> huh, go figure... lol Don't sell it Erik, you know you will KICK yourself in the arse if you do.
I see a lot of the guys selling to get a challenger. My wife allready said 4 get it. If the challenger ever comes with a dana 44 rearend and 3.92 gears with auto the JEEP is gone as there changing it in 2011.
well......technically there is nothing wrong with it.......it runs very well.......I just made the wrong cam choice for the motor and slowed it down quite a bit.I will be installing a new cam this week that should take care of that problem. I didn't really post about it yet as I am waiting to make sure this one does the trick. But I really do want a Viper:drool:
Hemi31 - Personally, I love your maggie. I sold my '03 Viper SRT10 last summer, great car, had a lot of "Rock Star" appeal. However, my Belanger headers were $5k installed (body panels have to be removed), the computer tune was $1100, K&N was ~$250-$300 (not too bad really) & rear tires ran over $400 per and last about 10k-12k miles. Oil changes are 11qts of Mobil 1 (@$130 per) & if you ever plan to race it, replace the half-shafts 1st. Also, shocks run ~$800 per. I sold it b/c the maintenance costs were getting out of control (& my wife was about to shove it up my *%&#). Don't get me wrong, I LOVED the Viper, but in hindsight I couldv'e twin-turbo'd the C5 vert I traded in for the amount of money I spent modding the Viper.
Well, I would have if you said Viper - but you said Corvette. Had to make the call on behalf of all that is just humane.
