I wonder what would need to be upgraded to handle all that power. First hting to mind would be stronger axles and a upgraded clutch.

 

Definitely unique...though I still think a single-turbo system is a more appropriate kit. Certainly has an awesome uniqueness factor, though.

 

We have a few srt4s running the DCR Stock Twin Turbo kit, they have upgraded clutches but are still on stock axles.

 

what power levels can one expect to see with these

well i was wondering, because besides the fact that it's twin stockers you could get a single big turbo and make the same power minus a couple grand.

 

You are right, but with our DCR Stock Twin Turbo Kit down the road if you decide to build your engine you can upgrade the DCR Twin Turbo kit. We offer upgrades for the kit. You use the same manifold and we can do one stock turbo and an E1 turbo and then we offer doing the Twin E1 Set up. All we have to do is upgrade the stock turbos and we can make more hp down the road, you can not do this with any other turbo kits out there. We are now working on doing the DCR Twin Stage 3 Turbo Kit. We will have pricing for this set up soon. There is nonthing wrong with a big turbo set up, we do a lot of them. But we can take the twin turbo kit and beat a big turbo car in the head, by the time the big turbo has made full boost we have been gone spool time is still like stock and it carries all the way to red line. But we sell both big turbo kits and the twin turbo kit after testing we have found that the twin turbo set up works much better for guys with these srt4s that the drive on the street.

i think the twin turbo kit is pretty badass, but more of a 'i have a twin turbo'd srt4' bragging rights, unique thing.

the nice thing is with the two small turbos, spool up time would still be very quick.

the spool time is one of the things i love about the srt4. i boosted my tiburon with a t3/t4 and the top end was much better than stock srt4, but spool time was annoying.

i would never have enough funds for this kit, but im interested in what it includes for the 3600$ price tag.

This is a bolt on kit, and it does come with a warranty.

 

what other supporting mods would you need with this?

 

does the kit come with a Y for the charge pipe? how did you guys go about setting that up. just kinda interested in how the hot side piping is routed from the twins.

 

It does come with a Y charge pipe.

 

plus if one of the turbos fail its a cheap fix...

 

The actual exhaust path thru the manifold shrinks to around a square inch at the snail. I would think doubling that would cut much backpressure on the motor and help with top end boost.

3.A Set Of RC750cc Injectors-$400.00
4.DCR Water Injection-$250.00

As for tuning an afc neo and a msd tach adaptor is all you will need.

With this set up on 22psi we put 420 to the wheels.

I think it sounds pretty neat! I have always wondered about twin turbo on our cars rather than big turbo, just cause I like to be different, and I like a quick spool. If I had $3,600 I would have it!!
