I've posted this on the VTCOA as well.......... Hope it's OK.

I didn't want to let this day go unobserved.....

I don't really care whether you happen to be a believer in Jesus Christ as the Messiah or not.... Your own personal convictions or spirtual beliefs belong to you... and shouldn't be mucked with by anyone...... I believe that a person is measured by the goodness of their heart and nothing else.... I'm not really all jacked up if you believe the same things (that) I do..... In fact, I have more disagreements with those who claim to be (fellow) Christians than I do with everyone else...... I'm considered anathema by my own people..... But I'm not going to turn a blind eye on my convictions just to blend in with the sheep.....

I don't celebrate Easter today..... In fact, Easter (per se) is (ostensibly) a modern day amalgamation of two rather opposing entities..... I won't go into the worship of false gods or any religious stuff like that, because it would only create a religious argument... And who needs it.....(?) This is America, and everyone has a right to worship or believe whatever the hell they want.... even if it happens to be Devil worship or some messed up shit like that...

Lynette and I call this Resurrection Sunday. The Day that we celebrate and commemorate Jesus' conquering of death, Hell and the grave... The Day we Christians say, "He is risen..... Hallelujah....He is risen"......:dance2::rockon::thumb::dancing::worthy:

So, whether you believe that Jesus Christ really did rise from His grave and roll the big stone away or not.......... Those of us who love Him with all of our hearts wanna make a few joyful noises or even scream aloud for all to hear the greatest news ever uttered upon the ears of mankind..... That Jesus Christ is Lord...... He has paid (in full) the price for ALL of our sins and rose from the dead to prove it....

"He is risen................ Hallelujah....!!!! He has risen......."

I pray that He will be alive in ALL of our hearts today....... 'Cuz if He isn't, we have all failed as Christians.

I just thought I'd say that............ Thanks.

At Church this morning, Mrs. Bud, Bud's Mom, Little Girl Bud, my wife, mom and son had a good mass... the priest was very engaging and got people involved... something a Catholic mass usually isn't, per se. Usually, its very ritualistic... this priest was different and held my attention more so than any other before. Good speaker and actually humorous.

Anyway, thanks for posting your thread. Often, we overlook what the given holiday is truly about!

BTW: We went to mass for the first time at Mater Dei, a church and Catholic High School here in Chula Vista... the school's 'mascot' is "The Crusaders" and is a Knight with a Sword with "MD" emblazoned upon his shield, like the Notre Dame "ND" on their jersey sleeves. Very cool... especially considering the muslims are trying (and have been since the beginning of their religion) to wipe us out.

For me, reflecting on our common threats brings me closer to my beliefs and should bring all like minded folks together.

    Happy Easter everyone.

After nearly 60 yrs of walkin' around on this planet, I've come to the conclusion that religion per se may be the greatest of all evils..... The confusing part is that within all of these religions there are so many good and wonderful people whose only desire is to love one another as God has loved us....

Every religion contains specific individuals who are lovers of goodness... who are living their lives in dedication to the tenets of their respective Saviour..... They are dedicated to selflessness, kindness, charity.... and just plain and simple goodness.... They are everywhere. They follow many great and spiritual beings....

Although some of them believe that one must be a Muslim, a Christian, a Catholic or whatever in order to be incorporated into God's family, I believe that it is their dedication to the aforementioned way of life that makes them a member of God's Army of Light....not their church affiliation.....

Simple love and kindness is the way of Life and the true path to God... And, for my part, I began this path walking with my Lord Jesus and I'm staying beside Him.. He is within me and always will be..... But if a good man or woman who has come to the pathway of goodness and Light from another direction.... Who am I to dismiss or diminish them.....? We're all in this together.

I call on all good men and women.... from all paths and from every corner of the Earth to unite under the standard of our Creator's love goodness, grace and mercy.... To join together and uphold that spiritual standard ... And to stop the shedding of blood in the name of our false gods....... Beacuse if your God commands you to go out and kill innocent people... to shed their blood or even simply think less of those those who don't believe in your God...... Then your God isn't God at all..... and you are quite possibly worshipping at the alter of the Evil one........

Good people of the world.... UNITE.......! It's not too late.

    D
