differance in engines

anybody of any differances between the pt gt and the srt4 engine, besides the intake manifold?

 

need an answer asap!!!!!

I think that I read somewhere that the pt motor doesn't have the oil squirters behind the pistons. But I could be wrong?

 

I think you are both correct. The manifold is different and I too have heard about no oil squirters.

i am not sure but i heard that they are completely different but i could be wrong

 

they are completely the same block, head, crank, pistons, everything internal. i do not know about all years but mine has the squirts on the bottom of the pistons too. intake is different and tranny is differemt. but it has to be from a PT GT turbo. these are all facts

 

Correct! A local went with a PT GT engine when his NSRT engine went :blowup:

 

the 2.4NA motor is the one without oil squirters, the 2.4t from the ptgt is exactly the same from head to oilpan
