After the 2006 model year, Jeep discontinued the plastic covers over the headlights on each side of the radiator cowl.
They are cheap, just snap in place, and dress up the engine bay. Order from your Jeep parts counter and you should have them in a day or two.
This is for a 2007 upgrade. I don't know if the 2008s can accept these. Anyone done this to an 08?

    Left p/n 55157129AA List $7.20
    Right p/n 55157128AA List $7.20

The covers were discontinued on all Grand Cherokees built after May 10th, 2006. They fit all WK Grand Cherokee models (2005-2010).

Man, I can't believe how much better it looks WITH those covers on, cheap azz Chrysler. Let's see, 7 buck new which means it prolly cost them 50 cents to make ... yea, they're saving a BUNDLE by not putting those on the new ones, sheesh!!
