Like Kris said, we'll have our display there and maybe my 690rwhp stang, too! Let us know if you need any more info and hope to meet a bunch of you guys there!!
Oh, and if you need help registering, call or email the car show director, Lisa Bodrey ... [email protected] ... 478-862-3708
WHY DONT YOU GUYS COME SPONSOR AN EVENT UP IN NY!!!!!!! hahaha... all the cool stuff is down there :cry2:
The NMCA has added car show awards for the following classes: Best Late Model Hemi Best Late Model LSX Join us at the NMCA opener in Bradenton, Florida March 29-30 for the NMCA Auto Show & Shine hosted by BMC!
It's not NY but we do have an event in Atco, NJ. Kooks Custom Headers is sponsoring a late model shoot out June 6-8. Check out the details at nmcadigital.com This should be a great event for the NMCA!
HHP will be there as our own Bruce Maichle (HHP's shop manager) defends his 2007 NMCA Pro Stock Championship. Plus we'll we running the Late Model EFI class with a temporary HEMI car while we hope to have our Challenger debuting at the second NMCA race in Bowling Green, Kentucky the first weekend of May. These events are a blast and I'll check with Mr. Harmon at NMCA for final clarification (unless Lisa beats me to it), but racing participants who come from the forums will have some fee's waived for their first NMCA race they participate in. Who can pass up 3 days of racing and an awesome car show! Think about how much fun you're going to have, then multiply that by 10 and that's NMCA. Great work on the show, BMC! Joshua, HHP
... and now BMC PERFORMANCE is sponsoring the Best Late Model Hemi car show award. More to follow on that as we are working on something else, too!
Does this mean i have a BETTER chance at winning? I really wish we didnt have an event at Moroso already planned. I'd like to attend this event.
Okay everyone, we have added another class to the awards on Sunday: Best Late Model Mopar The Best Late Model Mopar and Best Late Model Hemi awards will be sponsored by BMC Performance! Thanks Lisa for your support in getting this done.
Come on Sunday! Sunday is the day they are doing the special Mopar Awards, and that will also be the Finals day for all the Drag Classes. It isnt a bad drive, we just did it two weeks ago.
I'm so glad to be sponsoring these awards and helping get the new classes created. Looking forward to an awesome weekend in Bradenton and a great year with the NMCA! :dance4:
I was thinking about Sunday but that is the party at Blondie's. Road trips don't bother me.... I went to Gainesville for the Gators last weekend. What happens on Friday?
Friday is drag racing only, nothing for the car show. There is a car show Saturday and Sunday, with Sunday being the day for the new Mopar classes/awards. I'm bummed to miss the party at Blondie's too. We're probably a mile away and I missed the last one as well.
Well Friday sounds like the day for me. I'd rather watch cars run down the track then look pretty. :bigwink:
We drove over to Bradenton today for the NMCA event this weekend, and went to the track this afternoon to get the trailer parked and put together the goodie bags for the car show tomorrow. For more information on the event, click here: http://www.bmcforums.com/showthread.php?t=43410 We have a special parking area for the BMC cars in the car show, so if you are nearby, you should definitely come to the show tomorrow and Sunday! There are a ton of awesome race cars and the show parking is so close to the track you can enjoy both all weekend! All the fastest and hottest looking Mustangs, Camaros, Corvettes, Challengers, Chargers, GTOs, trucks, etc. are here! Here are a few pics Lisa snapped this afternoon. Hope to see you there tomorrow and Sunday!!
