You have to remember that some of those guys on there slow up to throw off the contestants. On the same show there was a chevy low rider with a gal driving and it had a 350 engine with powergluide tranny and 3.08 gears. Now thats a 17.50 et car easy but she ran a 24.50 at 54 mph lol.
Cool, watched last nights episode and two of the contestants were from Chandler and Mesa. The guy from Chandler was a capital D doof (owned or employed by a speed shop?)...Hal, no offense to you or others of Chandler but if you know him please let him know that he came across as an arrogant know-it-all on TV. On the other hand, Mains, you'd be fortunate to be aquaintances with the mother of 3 from Mesa who won the wad of cash! (nice looking too). Yup, Chandler & Mesa...two of the places that we've been looking into moving to...weird coincidence or a fateful reminder? <cue twighlight zone music here>:huh:
