I finally got my bent rims replaced with used ones. FWIW I hit a SMALL hole on an offramp where the temporary (tar) road met the original cement road. Car on jacks (check out the awesome quality) Passenger back wheel Passenger front wheel Toyo 275/40 ZR20 right side Toyo 275/40 ZR20 left side All are cell phone pics so bear with the marginal quality.
Oh you know it bud. I said "oh you silly little pothole" Oh well...the two damaged wheels were sent off to be repaired and widened 1.5 inches. Just not when I wanted
This is the funny part. I JUST installed my HID bulbs in my low beams and drove 9 miles to pick up my kids. I was thinking how awesome my vision was and how far I could see in the new blue light and ran over a TRANSITION in an off ramp...recent road work had asphalt going to cement. I drive the same ramp every single day. I was thrilled.
Watch those holes Jon....I was in Montana back in 1988 driving an 86 Bronco pulling a 26' trailer......we were on a 4 lane paved hwy when all the sudden it turned into a gravel 4 lane hwy....the gravel part dropped down about 5"....thought I had broke the hitch for sure...
Larry, I agree totally man. The sad thing here is I drive that ramp every single day twice!!! Weak. When are you coming to Yellowstone? House is open bud
We are planning a western vacation in the next 18 months....I have been all over the west but my wife and kid have never seen the other side of the mississippi (screw the spelling, its late)....yellowstone is on the list..
FWIW Larry, My house is open for your family...we have more than enough room. Consider it a jumping point or stop-over or whatever you want. My kids would love some friends anyway. Be in touch!
sorry to hear that bro, glad you got it fixed though and hey gives you an excuse to send those bad boys out to get widened
