I got my car scheduled in for the reflash next wednesday. So I will let you guys know how it works out and how it affects the car.
Mine is scheduled for Monday. I get the P0234 code almost daily, this should be a good test on whether or not it works!
I did Get the reflash, and I can say I am not happy with it. The car lost power with this reflash. Boost was lowered in each gear, noticeably (sp?) 1st gear is the same 2nd gear went from 11psi redlining to 9psi to just 9psi holding it til redline 3rd gear went from 14psi redlining to 9psi to 12psi redlining to 9psi 4th gear went from 15psi redlining to 9psi, to 14psi redlining to 9psi and i didnt check the rest of the gears. To me, it seems as if Mopar Lowered boost, but may have leaned the car out, I mean it is still quick, it just doesnt have that oomph feeling to it. But oh well, that just means I need to buy a BG Chrysler reflash for 350, and then raise the boost.
See my CSRT acts opposite, I get a 10 PSI spike(that holds) in 3rd and it builds to 12-13 at redline. I do agree that it appears that they lowered boost schedule as I used to see 14-15 @ redline in 3rd. Prior to the flash I would spike 11-12 then it would fall to 8-9 then it would jump to 14-15 towards redline(3rd gear). Also does Dave@ B&G have the flashes ready?
he gave me a price and it is stated on his website! Maybe we can get a group buy going for all the Caliber SRT4s? I posted up on the thread on Caliberforums.com about the reflash...anything to help dave get more business! Gabriel
I live about 3 hours outside of Warren, I'd be more than happy to run my car up there and get it flashed if it's ready.
so they just lowered the boost a little on top of raising the overboost flag just a hair? that sucks.
