Hey guys...me and a buddy of mine made a custom setup for bi-xenon projectors using the stock headlight housing and adjustments.

Here a few pics of it. Let me know what you guys think. All opinions are welcome. I'll take some light output pics tonight. They are incredible.

looks nice.. i don't know why more cars don't come with standard projectors.. my last car, a hyundai at that, had stock projectors.

i was thinking of getting a spare set of headlights for the srt4 and projectors from a car and doing this. i HATE the chrome reflectors in my headlights, and projectors are so much better in every way.

I totally agree. If Hyundai can do it, why cant everyone else lol. Projectors are by far better in every aspect. That is if you got a good set. There are alot of knock offs out there. I had an "eBay" projector setup on my truck a while back. They stayed on two weeks. Very crappy.

If you dont feel confident in doing your SRT4 just PM me and I would be glad to hook you up for a small fee of course.

i feel plenty confident, i just will probably procrastinate.. haha.

let me know how much you would charge me if i provided parts, if the price is right, you will have some work to do : ) i would also pay you to paint the bezels black if you would be willing to, or just send em back apart so i can paint them.

where did you get the projector assembly from? anything specific or just whatever you could find? if its not specific, i got an old set of tiburon headlights that i could steal the projectors from.

Painting the bezel black would be no prob. I almost did that instead. The projectors I used are from an Infiniti. Cant remember the model off hand. I got those because they had the bi-xenon feature. which i think is awesome, and another reason was because they fit really nice in my stock housing.

As far as you using Tiburon projectors, I cant say if it will work or not. I would have to see some pics of them and your stock housings to see if it could fit and where it could mount up.

what is the bi-xenon feature.. and how much did you get your projectors for..

im just kinda looking for a ballpark figure of what i would be paying to get this done.

I sent you a PM. bi-xenon means they work as the low beam and high beam. As you may now, there is a shield inside the projector that blocks out the light so your not blinding everyone with you lights for low beam use. Well with bi-xenon that is still there, but when you turn on your high beams, it activates a solenoid that moves the shield and gives you full light output. Thus, your high beams

How do you like them? I know you mentioned the tread is terrible, but did you mean terrible because they need to be replaced or terrible as you don't like them?

they were good while they lasted. I only managed to get about 12k miles out of them. By terrible, i mean i need a new set. I have only had them about 6-7 months.

Hmm,, where are you getting them? got mine from the Ebay Guy last July. Only took 4 days total cross country. Ive heard they have become a bit of a pain since. billy Bones is supposed to have them or he did at one time
