For all of you LX owners, I am pretty sure there are several other Jeep Grand Cherokee Srt8 owners willing to make the same swap. I would go to the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 Forum and post there,as well as in the Jeep section here.

If you guys who are swapping calipers ever thought about installing stainless brake lines, during the swap is the perfect time to do it. You'll only have to bleed once and you'll have the line off the caliper anyway. Stop-Tech makes really nice stainless steel brake lines for the SRT8 Brembos. I got mine from here (about 1/2 way down the page) http://www.zeckhausen.com/Dodge/Magnum_SRT8.htm

    Picture on the retaining pins...

I'm sure it will be obvious to me once the wheel is off and I'm looking at the caliper. Just haven't dealt with any setup that way. Cars I've dealt with some you would take off both bolts on the calipers to change the pads or one bolts and move the caliper up and remove the pads.

To remove these pins what tool options would I have to use? I want to make sure I have everything I need before going on and doing it.

I too have to start looking at pads for my Brembo's. I had tires installed yesterday and looked at my brake pads, and the rears are almost down to the squeal bar. i want to do it myself but do not want to spend 200.00 for the piston compressing tool. any tips for doing it with out that expensive part?
