That's reassuring. Still, why place the cat there when you can easily place it downstream like the SW design? (not bashing here, simply asking - and I really do like Kook's products).
(I don't know anything about it) Do the cats need to be a certain ways away from the exhaust ports to operate at a certain temp?
Ideally, the cats should be closer to the header collector for faster light-off. This can be accomplished without running the right side pipe under the trans pan. I like the design of the American Racing headers better for this:
