I like the new area we are in. Except we are the only thread :bigwink:

Well, I picked up all the custom forced induction tubing from Bryan yesterday. Everything looked great. Although I wanted to prep it a little more so I brought it to my shop for a 3 hour grinding session. Nothing passes time more quickly then grinding... Hey Jersey, I found a new hobby :clapping: The tubing was then dropped off at my buddy Dave's powder coating shop and the parts will be ready today  I also dropped off the intercooler and blow off valve for anodizing.

Here are some photo's of the tubing.

Bryan just called and said the last group of parts to be powder coated are ready for pick up. Looks like more grinding for me :clapping:

I want to clean up a few items under the hood, so it's like we are taking a few steps backwards. All these parts will just look cleaner powder coated

Here is another problem we just came up with  We sent the B&B exhaust to Jet Hot to have coated, with explicit instructions to not coat the chromed tips! Well guess what they did?

They coated the chrome tips. And not only that the mufflers sound like there is a lb of rice in each of them. They never blocked off the tubes and there shot that they use to clean the parts is lodged inside the mufflers :mad2:

On a brighter note, here is the new location of the air filter.

Sweeet! What the hell are you gonna do with the exhaust now to fix that? Geez I hope Jet Hot is stepping up on this. Look forward to more successful progress.

    Exhaust show down!!

Well, due to some unforeseen circumstances regarding exhaust systems, it looks we are going to have a B&B vs Borla S show down :scare: BTW, one of these systems will be for sale very shortly :bigwink: Since Jet Hot screwed up the coating process on the replacement B&B system, it seemed to me that is was taking to long to figure it out, so I said screw it, I'm going to order the Borla S and have it Jet Hot coated (along with more explicit instructions about not coating the chromed tips :mad2:) Well guess what? within a week I will have both systems :what: I talked to Jersey and MatFab today and what we will do is dyno the vehicle with both systems. Whatever makes the most power stays. :dance4:

Anyone looking for an after market exhaust system stay tuned. The one going up for sale will have 0 miles and about 20 minutes on it It will be offered at a very reasonable price... Maybe Bill will want it :laugh:

Well Jet Hot did replace the rear section of the B&B. The Borla system also showed up yesterday. I have to say I am very impressed with everything on the Borla. The tips are in perfect alignment by a welded rod. Brackets in critical areas. Only down side it is constructed out of 2 3/4" tube and the B&B is 3"

    Here is the B&B

Both are Jet Hot coated up to the chrome tips.

One of these systems will be for sale shortly :eek:k:

Don't forget Brian, the B&B also comes with the added feature of cracking tips and mufflers after 10-15K miles of driving. . . just a forewarning my friend, you 've seen my documented B&B mess on the "other site", wouldn't want the meanest Jeep on earth driving around with rattling mufflers like I was! I vote Borla, based on quality alone. . . but I'm also interested in what your dyno results will be. . . waiting patiently

What's up Doc.. You are correct. Borla is a very nice setup. Evan if I lose some hp it will be worth no rattles.

We are in crunch time. Vehicle will be fired up this weekend, tunning next weekend. Hemisfear and I just finished up a project... I can't wait to post some pictures. Hopefully by the end of the week. All I can say everyone will be amazed!!! Milan this is for you. :worthy: :worthy:

    Stay tuned!!
