Just got word from a local importer/distributor who'll make 275-35-20 Vredestein Sessanta's (UHP type not SUV) available for $ 235 each + $ 52 shipping. Again, tires are the Ultra High Performance version and not 40 series. Seeminglly unavailable in Canada but hopefully superior to the Proxes4's I bought last year and at a better price than I got last year on my Toyo's...think I'll jump. Anyone interested can PM me. Joe

Yeah...I remain pissed off at the inequity between our two countries but that's a "Purchase-Direct" price from the sole Canadian importer/distributor. Your's is a great price but I can't seem to find a tire shop in upstate NY that is interested in bringing the Vred's in. Who did you purchase from? Oh, that's better, dealer in Ogdensburg will to go at $ 280 per tire installed & balanced for 255 F1's...now we're talkin'...too bad I only got about 9000 kilometers out of my first set :blush:
Do the ebay guys in Canoga Park ship up there? Even if you doubled their standard shipping you'd be right at $200 a tire. I'm clueless on crossing Intl Borders....
Sorry for the late reply, Ralph... Yeah the shipping's Ok and you're likely right but the effing "brokerage fees" and taxes bump pricing stratospherically! Dayum NAFTA's not working as well as it could for me.
There is a member over at SRT8 forums (stefwilli) that has a set for $750 including shipping I believe. That is how much I paid for mine.
