Well a question was asked and it needs to be clarified for everyone.......I don't travel to do installs.There are too many tools and if something goes wrong I have extra parts in my garage.I try to make sure I have enough extra stuff in my private stock to cover any issue,from a bad gasket to a faulty lifter.Sorry for any confusion.
Erik is THE go-to guy in the North East, folks. And he has the track results to prove it. Not only with his own ride, but with an increasing number of very satisfed customers. If you are within driving distance of his location, and considering a head/cam install, you can't go wrong with his install prices. I agree with Ozzie. And he's a really nice guy to boot. He was very helpful and answered my MANY questions when it came time for me to pick a cam and do my swap. Had I still lived in Boston, I would have just paid him to do it instead of doing it myself. If you're upgrading this winter (maybe your nice Christmas presents) do yourself a favor and take him up on this offer.
Things to ASK before you have ANY ONE START!!! I called most of the main shops and ASK if they CHECK the BEFORE Vacuum and the compression pressure for the work they DO and THEN when everything is all over/done so you can compare the difference with the cam/heads swap. LOVE THIS o we DO NOT CHECK those things Because WE know WHAT WORKS. ERIK was the ONLY one that checks all of that plus MORE AND KEEPS T R A C K !! for you so when he changes some thing HE HAS A REFERANCE FOR you.. sorry for getting up set this IS NO GAME! I had the Chry dealership do my install so I had the Chry paper work, other wise I would have SHIPPED the car to him. To many shops just trying to get on the BAND WAGON for LX cars. Yup, Eric is the man when it's comes to installations on these rides. Thorough is an under statement. And his wife makes one hell of a badars cheesecake from what I've been told. So not only do a gain afew lbs of torque, but a few lbs of ars too.
Once i get something that needs an expert to install...you can bet ill be in contact!...god knows when that will be haha...:dunno2:
This sounds very tempting....I always thought if I came to see Erik that I might as well rent a vehicle and have a vacation at the same time....If Santa doesn't bring me everything on my immediate wish list...I think I may go this route as things will be delayed long enough for a spring install. :dribble:
