Thought I posted this yesterday but I must have forgot to hit the submit button. '06 MSRT8 running r20 CAI 91 Oct. I selected raised shift points in the modify parameters section instead of Quick Adjust (exactly the same effect?). I did not disable upshift in stick mode. For completeness, I've adjusted the fans for my 180* t-stat and tweaked the WOT fuel and timing but I would not expect that to effect this. When the car is in autostick and you slow to a stop like at a red light the automatic downshift to 2nd is very hard. Feels exactly like a bad U joint would going from neutral to drive. It doesn't do this in automatic mode. I just had the car in for service and had them check the drive line for u-joints and loose bolts. Thoughts on this?
I think you did post it...in the sticky thread.... Have you guys tried resetting tranny adaptives. Thanks Mike
Yes, it's only the 3rd to 2nd shift when slowing to a stop. I tried resetting TCM adaptives today and it's still there.
