So I switched out my stock exhust for full 3" from the cats back. 2 days after the work my car started to bog really bad while under light gas. It turns out my whole left side of the engine is running super rich. The computer is not pulling fuel like it should be and I had to replace a 02 sensor. Now that I replaced the 02 sensor, it is still doing it. Some times when I reinstall the diablo cmr tune it will go away but as soon as I stop the car let it sit for a bit it comes right back. When I called diablo a nice lady told me she couldnt help me and I needed to call gs motor sports since they wrote the tune. Well we all know how hard it is to get a hold of the important people at gs. So now I have nowhere to turn to for help any one got an idea. I have been getting engine lights for misfire in the number 3 cylinder( plug looks great), Idle air contorler( no clue), and the 02 sensor (fixed). Thanks guys John
no clue my shops doing everything. They said they are going to call diablo tomorrow. I also had him do some fine tuning on the tune and it still is going super rich on just the left side!!! could my pcm be just not storing it right? forgeting some of the tune when it restarts?
HMM why not call Andy at PPP and get a tune from them since you have most of their stuff??? Or do you live close to GSM??
I have tryed to talk to PPP. They said he would call me when he gets the MSG. Man it just seems its one thingafter an other. Why couldnt I just leave it stock
Yeah I noticed it not so easy to get anyone at PPP like it used to now it's all automated, maybe someone can walk you thru the stock settings on the Predator to get you running??? DO you have a Wideband A/F installed
I am not sure of the number its just what my guy told me. I also could see smoke coming out of the left muffler and not the right. It sucks not having a car and having to get rides to school with people. I hate driving in my friends civic I feel so out of place. I hope this all gets taken care of soon. whats next my? Or do I even want to know.
yea thanks again for that flash curtis. I was running the 14a from when I bought it. Maybe the 16a will help I didnt ask my guy if he tryed it yet. I iwll keep you guys posted thanks again
Since I put my full system in I want to reinstall the Diablo, but I don't want to mess up my audio stuff I will call and find out.
Do you know if GSM corrected your bank 2 VE table? For some reason, bank 2 runs a lot fatter than bank 1 on our cars. If your bank 1 VE table was adjusted, but not bank 2 then you'll be WAY rich on that side.
Well, this is a strange one. Not sure what to even suggest here.... Was there any change made that may have caused this? Did you reload a different tune? Maybe updated the crom file? Is it possible that you loaded the custom tune improperly to the Predator? Thanks Mike
We need more info on this to be able to help. What is your 1/1 Long Term ADAP & 1/2 Long Term ADAP? You have 33% correction available either way rich or lean. It would have to be REALLY rich to max it out.
Bank 1 and bank 2 ve tables should always be the same I would never adjust one and not the other I know john had tried to get the tune again but he was having trouble with error for a corrupted file Scott

There is a shop in Norcal that can dyno tune that thing for you... work out the kinks and fix whatever is wrong... these guys are good. Yes they do have the CMR software and all. Later
I noticed that you said that you had a miss fire on the bank that you said you had trouble with. This can case issues if it is continuous. The issue could be the spark plug lead or the coil pack. You also said the problem did not occur at the same time as you changed the exhaust. It may be that a failure occured after you put the exhaust on and you are linking the the problem the exhaust and the tune because they all changed at the same time. I hope this helps. I recently had experience of an intermittent coil pack on another engine and it took ages to diagnose.
Yea so I ended up just getting Dittos motors out here in northern cali to make a whole new tune. Car idles much better than before its stays at 950 rarely drops. I am still getting that ho2s high right bank code, random misfire, and brake controler. Mike, Dave any one know why I would still be getting these after I replaced the o2 already and it only misfires when I am reversing and barely on the gas. Thanks. Dave btw my mechanic sent you the tune he wrote to see waht you think. I just want this all taken care of beforeI leave for La friday early morning.
P0138/P0158 codes are fixed in the latest revision, or if running a custom tune have your tuner get in touch with me and I will tell them the proper way to disable the codes in CMR. Thanks Mike
